Jamee Canova always dreamed of a handsome man in uniform sweeping her off her feet. Though she’s the personal assistant to a bestselling romance author, her actual love life is laughable at best.

What can I say??? This book was soooo good. I was dying to get my hands on it after I finished the first book, With Gratitude and Love. Jamee and Jonsey are perfect for one another. They can go head to head with a battle of wills, but also show their softer sides. I could literally feel the heat coming off the pages when these two first met. Skye Turner knows how to write a sassy yet soft in the inside heroine and a sexy alpha who can also let his softer side show. I can't wait to see what's nex ...more

Really enjoyed Jonesy & Jamee for the most part. The beginning felt rushed, because while I felt like there was a lot of build up with Mal & Cord, there was very little with these two. And the inner dialogue was a bit much for me. The overall story, however, was full of awwww's and smiles & a few laugh out loud moments. So, while I enjoyed the first book _more_, I definitely enjoyed this one, and it will likely be a re-read as well. : )

I was so eager to read this book as I read the first one and I really liked Jamee she is such a take no prisoners type of girl. I really enjoyed that about her in the first book and she was the exact same in this book when she would go off the deep end Joe was right there to reel her back in they two characters balance each other out very well. I was gifted this book for a fair and honest review.

This is a very beautiful story of love, romance, passion, of two lonely hearts meeting for the first time. One look and they are so hooked on each other. Love at first sight from a very talented author who knows how to pull her readers in giving a compelling read. Jamee is a spunk girl full of sass that knows what she wants and goes after it. Jonesy is very cocky and so full of sex appeal that you fall in love with him from the start. The two go well together making a wonderful couple that reall ...more

I absolutely loved this story! I was hoping to read Jonesey and Jamee's story! Definitely is a must read along with "With gratitude and love"! I love stories reminding us about the struggles soldiers to through to protect our country!!

I just want to say that Jamee is one of my favorite characters that I have read in a longtime. She has so much spunk and sass but also such passion for things she holds dear. The cockiness of Jonesy is just enough to find sexy. When the two finally meet face to face for the first time after a year -- the fireworks are immediate and explosive. Their relationship was so sweet and a joy to watch unfold. Skye throws in a few surprises along the way and gives us a story that is truly worth our time t ...more

I have read many a book by this author, but I simply adored this one. The characters will sweep you in with a couple of them at one point being deployed. With a son in law being active military I easily relate to when stories contain the military. When Jamee interacts with her pal's fiancee's friend in the service this author will melt you right then and there. The nickname is the right on the spot kind of nickname that she gives him also. Joe or Jonsey will sweep you away with you being sealed ...more

I very much enjoyed this book. It is sort of a continuation of With Gratitude and Love, but you can certainly read this as a stand alone. However, you don't want to miss reading With Gratitude and Love because it's just awesome. Jamee and Joe's story was pleasant. It is a story that just lets you enjoy your read. No worries about unnecessary angst. The story flows as Jamee and Joe finally meet in person after emailing and skyping for a year. Love the characters. Of course, Skye gives us some ste ...more

Jamee and Joe start their relationship by Skype for year while Joe was off fighting for our country. When he arrived home and meet Jamee for the first time it was truly a match made in heaven. This story is a fast paced and keeps you on your toes through their relationship. They have g

I love Joe and Jamee

J.J. are to adorable! I love their easy going ista-connection. I was so with Jamee when she was pissed about that skank, if it was actually possible to jump into a book I would have done it and given Arielle the "porn star" wannabe a beatdown Puerto Rican style. As always Skye I love that you meshed my favorite two subjects together. Military and southern men! I can't wait to see else you are going release.

Another hit

Skye does it again. Brings us into the world of a romance writers assistant as she finds the love her life. The man she always dreamed of but didn't think existed. But he does and she gets her happily ever after too.
