This paranormal romance is as wild as the wolf pack it involves. There’s an animal hunger between the Alpha Wolf Reginald and the young and beautiful human, Ophelia. Don’t miss this romance that will leave you wondering what it might be like to love a wild one.

This is Book 5 in the Escape from Reality Series, which features works by twenty authors writing in many genres and all connecting their stories somehow to the quiet town of Escape, Colorado. I recommend the entire series, but each book, l

This starts out sweet and innocent but soon takes a turn. You'll have to read it to see where it takes you. I loved the story line and the characters were interesting. I wish there was more in depth character development. But overall there was enough to sustain my interest in the story and plot. And it leaves you wanting more with an omg cliffhanger but there's a sneak peek into book 2! And I'm dying to get my hands on it to continue the story.

Thoughts: Talk about intriguing! It starts out as a paranormal romance but by the end who knows what’s going to happen. Warning, there is a cliffhanger and waiting for the next book is going to be hard. Ophelia is Ilya reincarnated, we get a few flash backs that answer a few questions but leave more in its wake. The unexpected twists and rising number of unanswered questions wi

Fast paced, engaging, sweet, hot and wild. Lola Kyle grabs you from the very first paragraphs and doesn't let you go until the very end. My only disappointment with this book was seeing it end. I was so immersed in it and it definitely ends with a bang!! Ophelia is young, sweet and innocent, but as she's being pushed as far as she can hold, she becomes fierce and stronger. Reginald has been looking for his mate for too long and can't believes she has reincarnated in a human, but, as he becomes a ...more

The beginning of this book captured my curiosity and made me want to know more about what had happened (as well as what would happen) with Reginald and Ilya/Ophelia. I enjoyed the pace and action in this story. Kyle definitely appears to be growing as a writer with each book. The way the drama came to a head at the end of this book and the way I was left hanging rendered me speechless. I am very much looking forward to reading the next book in this series. I am not normally a fan of this genre, ...more

I really enjoyed this take on shifters. They were different them most that I’ve read. They were rougher then main character tend to be but I was drawn to that aspect. It gave it a forbidden feel.

I really liked Ophelia’s character. She wasn’t weak minded and just wanted answers. Then we have Reginald. He was a jerk at times but a hot jerk. I did like him. The story was on the shorter side, but I thought it got all the points it need to get across even with ending in a cliffhanger. I can’t wait t

Action, Mystery, Betrayal, and heat

3.5 Stars! Lola Kyle was a new author for me and I enjoyed this book. It had action, mystery, betrayal, and heat. I do wish it were a little more developed or in depth with the characters and plot because I always need to know all the things but it's possible I maybe missing something from starting late in the series. It was a super fast paced quick read but will leave you on the edge of your seat waiting and wanting more. #BookSmackedReviewer

Lola Kyle has brought a bit of edge to Escape, Colorado!!!

This was such a great read from Lola Kyle and installment to the Escape From Reality Series. I loved reading about Ophelia and Reginald!! These 2 have a CRAZY backstory and to see their presents unfold was like watching a great movie!! This book is jammed pack with action, drama, and HEAT!! There is also some mystery thrown in there as well!!

I cannot wait to the continuation of this story to find out what comes next for this cast of chara

Mixed feelings with this one. Definitely some promising leads with the story line. I just found it a little inconsistent. Reginald, certainly isn't your typical alpha. Is there more to the story with the wife? As for Lia, quite a strong character, yet seems quite naive to some things but, not so much when you least expect it. Definitely intrigued enough to want to see what happens.

3.5 stars. I'm not sure if it's because I started late in the series, but the story really left me confused. The story is really fast paced, and I enjoyed the overall premise, but I feel like I'm missing so much of the puzzle to really appreciate it. I like the strength of Ophelia, but I'm not sure about Reginald. He seems to have some skeletons of his own. Warning that there is a cliffy that really leaves you scratching your head.

Well, well, well. What an ending! Ophelia is the kid of girl i love. Answers to no one and never backs down. I adore PNR and all things shifters. I am not too sure on Reginald yet, he comes across like a grade A douche. A good read.
