Moving back home to my parents’ cattle ranch in Texas was the last thing I thought I’d be doing.

But, here I stand … in front of my high school girlfriend. A beautiful, confident woman has replaced the young girl I once knew and loved. Hell. I’m still in love with her.

Yep. Paxton Monroe was my first love and the one girl in town who now hated my guts. So much so, Paxton sw

Review @ Vanilla & Spice Books

After his failed marriage Steed returns home to his parents' ranch in Texas. He hated not being able to go home to see his family because of his money-grubbing now ex-wife. When he left ten years ago he left unfinished business behind. The only woman he ever loved. The woman he never forgot.

Home. The one place I longed to be, but was also scared to death of. Memories of this place were dangerously strong, but Chloe and I needed family. She n

DNF @ 54%....

It was ok but I started to suspect that she hadn't been with anyone else and it was confirmed at 54%. To the Hs credit it wasnt stated that he was with anyone besides the ex but it wasn't stated that he was either. I'm thinking that he was only with the ex wife BUT if he shared his brothers view of women then he screwed his way through college. Author really need to stop making the heroine celibate - its completely unrealistic!.

FYI - his brothers sounded disgusting and pigheaded. I

Overall, the story wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed the beginning and I thought that the concept of the story was definitely what I was in the mood for. I'm a sucker for second chance romances and Cowboys, so I was really excited for this one.

However, I feel like that's where all the good aspects end. It was cute and interesting up until about halfway through. After that, it kinda just got dull and boring. The main conflict of the story was basically finding a way back to each other while facing the

What the fucking fuck. Why do women keep writing this shit? And why are books with these tropes so popular on here? I'm supposed to believe that the hero loves the heroine and has all these years? Really? How does not wanting to have her baby, being relieved she miscarries, not contacting her for 10 years, moving on and getting married and having children with OW prove his love for the heroine? She is supposed to be the love of his life? I don't fucking think so. While the "hero" is with his wif ...more

Ha ha ha, this blurb is ridiculous. He thinks he can make her forget that he broke her heart and left her when she needed him the most just by f*cking her good... Yeah man, right, what a love story it will be if she is really that dumb!!!!

All I can think about is how I want to be buried so deep inside Paxton she won’t remember how I broke her heart, or how I left her when she needed me the most.

No decent heroine would forgive the hero for the shit he pulled! He is disgusting!

I am so excited for this new series from Kelly Elliott. I stayed up all night and read through this book and then turned around and re-read it. It is by far Kelly's best work to date and I loved every minute of it.

Steed Parker left home 10 years ago leaving the love of his life and his heart in Texas. Now he's back home and the last person he thought he would run into was Paxton Monroe. She's always had a piece of his heart even though he crushed her the last time he saw her. She was so upset an

Heartbreak. Grief. Anger. Sadness. Regret.

For the past 10 years, these are the emotions that have defined Paxton Monroe and Steed Parker’s lives. One fateful night of poor reactions and angry words cost these high school sweethearts a decade of making new memories and living out the plans they made as a young couple in love.

Steed’s return home gives him the chance to make amends and discuss everything that happened between him and Paxton all those years ago, but before Steed can work to earn bac

My first Kelly Elliott book and it did not disappoint! A new series with characters you want to know more about. 3.5 stars...full review to come!
So I got this book in my Romance Reveal Box on Monday. Started it this morning and I didn't want to put it down! I wish I had started this tomorrow so I didn't have to stop and do actual work!

I'm a sucker for a single dad and a sucker for a cowboy so the fact that Steed was both... this book was made. for. me.

I feel like it should be mentioned because some people don't like quick moving timelines (I'm typically one of them), this whole book takes place within about four months. It is a second c

This book is why Kelly Elliott is a best selling Author.
It is easy to fall for a Parker Brother. In this book we meet Steed Parker. He's tall, dark and handsome. He also made a huge mistake back in high school. Something he has regretted his entire adult life. So what does he do, he make another mistake,. Which he feels is Karma. But there is something good that happened.....No spoilers

4 Sweet Second Chance Stars!

“The way he stared into my soul had me feeling unsteady. My heart was telling me to run to him, but my head was guarding my heart.”

“Fight for her, Steed. Show her that you made a mistake and that you’ll do whatever it takes to make it up to her.”

“He let out a contented breath. As if that simple kiss and me in his arms solved all of his problems.”

5.0 Star Review Lost Love (Cowboys & Angels #1) by Kelly Elliott

Wow, I have no words to express how much I loved Lost Love, the first book in the Cowboys & Angels series by Kelly Elliott.

What a great start to her new series, this book had it all. My heart just about broke for Paxton and at times I feared she would never recover. Enter Steed Parker, the love of her life and the man that hurt her beyond measure. Lost Love is a second chance at love and what a spectacular love story it is.

Gahhhh...okay. 3 stars.
I love the angst at the beginning and me loves a second chance love story. I especially enjoyed the secondary characters and the additional romance between them.

-It needed to be cut short. The second half of the book seems like a HEA? Conflict is pretty much completely resolved half way through.
-A little much on the cheese factor.
-Listening to how his brothers talk about women kind of made me throw up in my mouth.

-Heroine has never been with anyone

Lost Love is Kelly Elliott's best work yet!!! I couldn't get enough of this book and was DEVASTATED when I finished it. I'm LOVING all of these characters we were introduced to. The little girl, Chloe, MADE this book. Whenever she appeared I was either laughing or crying from the sweet things she said. I can't tell you how happy I was when I found out that the hero was a single dad.

I SO CAN'T WAIT for the other books in this series!!!

Can't believe this is supposed to convey true love when the H is a piece of crap coward and treated the h like shit.
Let's start off by saying this is a new author for us a we really loved our first read by them. What a fantastic love story with tons of love emotion and friendship.

I enjoyed the characters they were easy to connect with as they had you falling in love with from the onset. Those hunky Parker brothers where crude, sexist, humorous and hot as hell we loved them all .With their sense of humor, abundance of love, camaraderie ,joking & teasing around made them a lot of fun to read about as well as making u

I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

This is a great second chance romance story. There are a ton of characters that you get to know and I loved them all.

I tried to give this book a chance because I am a sucker for romances involving childhood friends. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t stomach it. I probably could have gotten behind the story if the characters had any redeeming qualities, but I genuinely couldn’t stand them. To me, the heroine was overly dramatic and whiny while the hero was a typical bro, you know the kind that gets drunks and screws other women to forget about what a d*** he is especially to the people he loves. I was excited to read this book. I thought there was going to be a lot of drama and angst, but it was pretty boring for almost the entire book.

Kelly Elliott’s Lost Love is a wonderful start to the Cowboys & Angel’s series!!! This second-chance romance is sweet, spicy and just plain delicious!!

Paxton and Steed’s love story will stick with me for a long time. The author does a tremendous job making you want to root for this couple in spite of their painful history. Kelly Elliott makes you feel Paxton’s anger, resentment and her tremendous yearning for her lost love regardless of the horrific mistakes that he had made in the past.

Lost Love it the first book in the Cowboys & Angels series. If you are looking for a second chance love story then this is the book for you!
Lost Love is Paxton and Steed’s story. And it is a true love story with a big heartbreak along the way. I loved Steed and I especially loved how he owned up to the huge mistake he made. He did not sugar coat his actions and knew he ruined his perfect love story. Because of his actions he stays away from Paxton and his family for ten years. When h
