Overall, the story wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed the beginning and I thought that the concept of the story was definitely what I was in the mood for. I'm a sucker for second chance romances and Cowboys, so I was really excited for this one.

DNF @ 54%....
It was ok but I started to suspect that she hadn't been with anyone else and it was confirmed at 54%. To the Hs credit it wasnt stated that he was with anyone besides the ex but it wasn't stated that he was either. I'm thinking that he was only with the ex wife BUT if he shared his brothers view of women then he screwed his way through college. Author really need to stop making the heroine celibate - its completely unrealistic!.

I'm curious what he did to break her heart .....
I am so excited for this new series from Kelly Elliott. I stayed up all night and read through this book and then turned around and re-read it. It is by far Kelly's best work to date and I loved every minute of it.

My first Kelly Elliott book and it did not disappoint! A new series with characters you want to know more about. 3.5 stars...full review to come!
Gahhhh...okay. 3 stars.
I love the angst at the beginning and me loves a second chance love story. I especially enjoyed the secondary characters and the additional romance between them.
BUT...
-It needed to be cut short. The second half of the book seems like a HEA? Conflict is pretty much completely resolved half way through.
-A little much on the cheese factor.
-Listening to how his brothers talk about women kind of made me throw up in my mouth.

Lost Love is Kelly Elliott's best work yet!!! I couldn't get enough of this book and was DEVASTATED when I finished it. I'm LOVING all of these characters we were introduced to. The little girl, Chloe, MADE this book. Whenever she appeared I was either laughing or crying from the sweet things she said. I can't tell you how happy I was when I found out that the hero was a single dad.

Kelly Elliott’s Lost Love is a wonderful start to the Cowboys & Angel’s series!!! This second-chance romance is sweet, spicy and just plain delicious!!
Paxton and Steed’s love story will stick with me for a long time. The author does a tremendous job making you want to root for this couple in spite of their painful history.
