You know all of that Harry Potter memorabilia you desperately want need but will never have enough Galleons for? For those of us who barely have two Knuts to rub together, this is the book to drool over while you’re feeling sorry for yourself for not having generous millionaire family members. In it you’ll find the wish list of your dreams, some of which would set you back more than what you paid for your car and others, your house. If anyone’s feeling generous, I wouldn’t reject your offer of gifti ...more

This isn't just a guide to collecting Harry Potter things but a work of art, telling stories behind famous pieces and fun facts strewn across pages of cultivated knowledge. This book helps you understand what "Harry Pottery" is and how best to build your collection (with active website links included) while drooling at previously sold items.

Eric Bradley has given something special from his expertise to inspire artists, creators and collectors alike. Warning: For those of you who haven't read or

I know it’s hard to break away from the stories, movies, and additional add-on books, but most Potter fans will find this book extremely interesting. Magazine editor and author of multiple antique books Eric Bradley has put together an awesome book.

The pictures alone should be enough to sell this book. They are striking, and big enough for all the small details to be seen. The text is there when you are done admiring the art, and it has plenty of fun facts about the items (both the o

I consider myself a Harry Potter fan, and in fact gradually converted my muggle of a husband into a closeted Slytherin (not my first choice, but at least he's sorted now).

As much of a fan as I am, I don't really have much in the way of Harry Pottery. According to this book Harry Pottery is the term for all things that are collected by fans of Harry Potter. I have a wand and some metal house bookmarks, but this book made me realize what a wide variety of items there are out there. And

'Harry Potter: The Unofficial Guide to the Collectibles of Our Favorite Wizard' is an interesting look at how much this franchise has effected not just our culture, but the world. The book catalogues several different collectibles associated with the series and gives the reader inside facts and figures that I found amazing. For example, a pair of prop glasses that Daniel Radcliffe wore in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was one of several made for the film, and was sol

I'm not quite sure who this book was written for. A serious Potterhead might know most of its content already and a casual HP reader, if there is someone like that, might not be interested in this information.

Sorry to say, I found it boring.

Review is based on a NetGalley ARC.

Received via Netgalley in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.

The funny thing about this book is that the author obviously knows his audience. This is a book about the type of money fans of Harry Potter are willing to spend to continue their love for this amazing world.

To sum up: Yo dawg, I heard you like collectibles. So I made a collectible about collectibles.

All of that being said, I am a Harry Potter fan, and I was absolutely fascinated by this book. I wish the ARC had loaded the pic

This was a great book, thoroughly enjoyed the trip down HP memory lane. The author did a wonderful job going through the merchandise and books, showing many different items and what they are worth. He showcased everything from movie posters to first edition books to the chair J.K. Rowling sat in to write the books. Lots of little insider items that were fun to see and know about.
FYI's about items, movies, props and characters made each section fun to go through. Great book for Potter fans to ha

*thank you to F+W Media and Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*

I consider myself to be an average fan of the Harry Potter series, having put off reading the books for 20 years because I was wanting to save them (im weird, I know), but this year, the 20th Anniversary, I picked up the first book and read and read. I thoroughly enjoyed it! It made me feel that warmth you get from something truly special. So when I started reading this book, I was going ba

This book makes for an interesting read, as a Harry Potter fan since the first edition books appeared on shop shelves, I was amazed by the information I gained knowledge of from this guide.

From our books to the movie props and cinema given poster stock, art work and other various rare merchandise from the film set, we learn of auctions taken place for items and the guide prices for others too. Even rare Lego and popular new Funko Pops of the franchise are featured with astonishing pr

As a huge Harry Potter fan, I was happy to receive this book for a review. I like knowing random trivia. This book has some interesting facts in it that I liked learning about. It's astonishing to see what these items are worth (though it is subjective really). I can't say I loved this book, but I did like reading it.

We go from the first editions of the books (and how to pick them out), posters, jewelry, Funkos, and movie props. The "Did You Know" Facts were a good addition to the book and many

This book wasn’t so bad even though I’m a Harry Potter fan. I just wished that it was a book that told a story and not just a guide. I won this book from a giveaway and thought it was a actual book that tells a study story but not arts and stuff like that. I mean it was a ok book because I got to understand more of Harry Potter but I’m not a person who reads guides.

I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan, so of course I requested this on Netgalley. I love trivia and collectables. This book was interesting for the most part, and a little dry in others, taking about numbers and monetary value in a way that made me a little bored. The photographs are really nice, but I had to skim through several sections because they were a little dry and mostly made me jealous rather than entertained. But if you like this sort of thing, its a good read. If you're only a casual fan, th ...more
