Jackson Mathews sets out with a heart full of pain and a mind in search of clarity, seeking refuge in the wilds of an American cross country road trip that will change him forever. With his life savings in hand and a will for anything far from where he begins, the young man will experience life on a stage that he had only read about in books. From the urban jungles of the east to the forests of the Northwest he will begin to understand life and the love of moments great or small.

I won this book on Goodreads giveaways. It has a good plot line but I felt the author was rushing to get through. It just didn't give me that mental picture I like when reading a book.

I would have to agree with a previously posted comment about the book feeling a bit rushed. Now, that being said, I did feel that this book had some beautiful, thoughtful writing. I feel like we have all wanted to run away from our present lives and the man in the book got to do that and go on a grand adventure! This got me thinking about what I would like to runaway to see and do. Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this book as part of a Goodreads giveaway. Cheers!
