Cathryn is the author of over forty novels. She writes psychological thrillers, psychological suspense, and the ALEXANDRA MALLORY series which features a sociopath you can’t help but love. Readers say they're “absolutely addicted” to the series.

The things that cause torment in real life—obsession and revenge, guilt and envy and longing—are endlessly fascinating in fiction and she never grows tired of writing stories about characters struggling to overcome the worst.

Cathryn also writes ghost stories because who knows what lies beyond our senses—The Haunted Ship Trilogy and the Madison Keith series of novellas.

When she’s not writing, she’s usually reading, walking on the beach, or playing golf, going way out of her way to avoid hitting her ball in the sand or the water. She lives on the Central California Coast with her husband and her cat, Cleopatra.

You can get in touch with her by email, find her social media links, or sign up for her monthly newsletter at cathryngrant.com/contact. As a thank you for signing up, you’ll receive a free short story about Alexandra Mallory.

Read this novel

I'm enjoying this series by Cathryn Grant and can't wait to get to the next one. Alex is a great twisted fun character i really like her. I may not like what she some times does but I think she's brilliant.
Yes I recommend this series. My fav so far is the 1st novel Mirror Mirror

Started off so well. I was invested in the characters and couldn’t wait to see where it was going. It started to feel repetitive in the middle, and the end was terrible. Why all the details about the other characters if it was going nowhere?

📖 The Woman In The Window started greatly and then was super slow for me. This book took too long to read and get into, it completely lost me in the middle. Once I started to get through about 60% of the book, it caught my attention again. I don’t like how short the chapters are (literally about five paragraphs..) that was upsetting.

⭐️⭐️

📖 I wish the first 70% of the book was shorter than it was, it was too drawn out, each character. 75% and up, the book was cooking. I couldn’t put it down and KNEW it was going to be a short ending.. HUGE PLOT TWIST at the end though! I didn’t like how it ended.. I wish it would have gone a little farther with more details but oh well.

⭐️⭐️

Enjoyable

I have enjoyed this series . Very interesting good story line. I still think that the main character is was way to obsessive and no one ever calls her out and sticks to it. Not reality at all! No one ever goes after her or catches on to her. That part does get boring. Overall, I do enjoy reading Cathryn'es books. I will keep reading and hopefully one day this main character will actually get locked up.

This series just keeps getting better with each additional book and has definitely made me a fan. I liked this particular book more than the last few and am looking forward to seeing how the story continues to progress with the next book.

I am a scaredy cat and my roommate handed me this book on a weekend when all of my roommates were out of town. I kept checking the door because I thought I was hearing noises. I don't like scary things, but this book was interesting and confusing and simple.

Very good and suspenseful. Up until the couple of chapters where all is revealed. Then it feels a little like the author took the easy-way-out to explaining everything.

Ending was awful. Like author ran out of time

This book started off well. There were characters that were well developed who went nowhere. Seemingly not a part of the larger story in the end. Their stories didnt really connect. The ending really just stopped. It was as if the author just decided I have 10 pages to finish, and wrote the quickest most boring ending possible. Really a waste of my time to read.
