Mike Carter is the founder and president of Tours & Crawls of Annapolis and Baltimore, which has been in operation since 2002. His Annapolis Ghost Tours are consistently rated among the top five paranormal tours in the country, while his Baltimore tours are quickly becoming just as popular and well received. He earned his BA from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Fun to read, then visit Fells Point and have a drink at one of the haunted bars. Great book, and fun to read about historic, haunted fells point, md.

As a former resident and often-visitor, I thought this book was a lot of fun! It's a quick and easy read but some of the info is out of date, like businesses and owners that have changed. Careful editing would have helped that. I appreciate that the authors correct the neighborhood legend of Edgar Allan Poe's death. Also, this book screams for many more maps and (professional) photographs!

As a Fells Point resident, figured I'd check this out. A ton of good Fells Point history here, definitely a lot more than ghost stories. Personally, I'm more interested in the history, so this was a perfect balance for me, but if you're more into the supernatural, it may be lacking to you.

Good history. As of 2024 several places have closed but the ghost stories are good. Perhaps the ghosts will stay around.
