Brukr is book eight in the Dragons of Preor series by Celia Kyle as Erin Tate.

Hannah isn’t what she seems. She’s part of the Cole-Daven project to help those with Pol Mutation, but she’s got a BIG secret. She has also been on the run for years.

Brukr is a gruff and tuff Preor male. He’s got an old scare across his throat that scares others off.

Right off the bat you can see their is an attraction; between Hannah and Brukr. You can feel their sexual tension and that desire to be together, but sinc

A welcome return to the fabulous world of the Preor and this time it's the turn of Brukr to experience just how much craziness a small human female can add to his life! Yet no matter how much Brukr feels the urge to protect Hannah he cannot deny that the 'knowing' hasn't happened. Hey that's not a problem though as Hannah is a victim of Pol Mutation and there's a very good chance that if she's cured all will be right in Brukr's little corner of the universe!
Hannah isn't exactly what she seems th

Have to say I am really enjoying this series. This was one of the best yet! While I do prefer the instant recognition of the mate, I get why that was not the case here. Brukr was so tortured. But he was pretty determined. I loved him! And I really liked that Hannah took a leap of faith with him. Looking forward to the next book!

There is everything to like about this hero. He is steadfast, respectful and protective.

The cause of his self esteem issues could have been revealed much earlier in the look so that we could see the hero work through them. As it is, they are just annoying angst.

I like the heroine as well until I find out her secret and reasoning for a set of things and then I am just annoyed as all get out. It would have been a much more intersting read if she just trusted the people she had every reason to tru

So Brukr was a lot like Ivoth in as they have strong feelings for these women but the Pol mutation blocks the Knowing. Unlike in Ivoth however, they now know once the disease is cured the Knowing can kick in. So, why Hannah does NOT ever...ever...once think if she gets cured she might be Brukr's sheevah I have no idea? At least it crosses Brukr's mind. That really bugged me throughout most of the book. A great addition to the series. The connection between the hero and heroine in this one had a genuine feel to it. I look forward to more and appreciate this series being offered as kindleunlimited.

"Brukr" the next book in the Dragons of Preor is an absolute joy to read. You will just fall in love with him. The way he tries to understand the human language and put his own interpretation on words he is not familiar with is hilarious. Brukr saved the Emperor's life when he was just a trainee and he feels he did not deserve to be honoured as his first instinct was to run away when all the other more skilled warriors were killed. But he didn't and so saved his Emperor. No he feels unworthy of ...more

A story with twists and turns about nothing. At some point it became ridiculous. Hannah made a huge mystery out of nothing and seriously there are no excuses for her behaviour except that she wanted to create a huge secret.Author constantly forgets on information she had previously given readers and contradicts it.For example,we were told in previous book that all Cole-Daven workers were extensively researched before offered a job and in this book it is proved when Penelope recites Hannahs backgr ...more

I loved the humor in this story and the Dragon thought patterns are hilarious. It was fairly dramatic, too. I just found Hannah's back-story to be incredulous and the mobs of people after her not believable. Even the reasons for this weren't clearly explained. Otherwise, good love story.

I like this series but it took me a minute to finish this book. I wish that maybe there had been a small prologue to give some backround in regards to Hannah and Eric as well as Brukr. I did like how in this story as well as Ivoth's that the Preors are starting to evolve. Meaning that they really liked the females regardless of The Knowing. Makes the stories sweeter in my opinion. Just wish these women would stop trying to "protect" these warriors, feels like it cheapens the story
Awesome series

The Dragons of Preor are just so awesome. I love reading this series and find something new every single time I reread it.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this latest book in the Dragons of preor series. Well written sci-fi book. I am very much looking forward to more of this series.

I'm back with the dragons! Yes! I like these guys. They're a little bloodthirsty and a lot protective and I dig that, man. I dig that.

Now, when I say they're protective, I don't just mean of their mates. Anyone they consider a friend of Preor gets the deluxe treatment. You know who's a friend? Hannah. The Knowing might not have popped up between her and Brukr, but he's more than the usual amount of protective when it comes to her. And she's into him. Or at least she would be if she didn't have t

Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the relationship between Brukr and Hannah. I liked the fact they were willing to be together despite the lack of "the knowing" and the humor was non-stop since Brukr was a bit uptight and completely literal with no real comprehension of human slang. Although Brukr's dragon rode close to the surface and we got a lot of fire breathing and some partial shifts we never got a full shift which is a common complaint for me with this series. I

I liked this, I did. But I gotta say I could NOT say the hero’s name in my head without seeing Frau Blucher from Young Frankenstein. With the horse whinnying and everything.
It was a little distracting. That said, if you’ve read this series, you know the drill. Was the plot twist a bit of a stretch to avoid the immediate hookup that comes with the Knowing? Yeah. Could I live with it? Yep. I like the humor of Brukr’s…*waits for horses to stop whinnying* pretty cute inner monologues which takes thi

Brukr is our blue/grey Preor and he and his quintet are charged with protecting the females of Cole-Daven corporation. Hannah is one of the spokesmen to encourage those with the Pol Mutation to get the free treatment that Cole-Daven is offering to cure the disease. Hannah past has put her through hell and and she is just trying to survive and hopefully help others with Pol Mutation even though she does not want her own cured (I can't say any more about that without giving away a major part of th ...more

This is book #8 of the Dragons of Preor book. It was good. The main character Hannah got on my nerves because this chick would not tell anybody what her issue was. She is one of the woman from Cole-Daven's that has Pol Mutation disease and is a representative for other humans to step forward and get rid of the mutation. Hannah still works as a waitress on the side and has a bodyguard in Brukr. This dragon is crazy in love with her though he denies it until her former government worker, Eric trie ...more

I love the Dragons of Preor and was excited to read Brukr's story. Each of the alien men are hot (what dragon wouldn't be?) smart, stubborn, sexy, loyal...okay, I'm rambling again. But everything I've said is true. Brukr knew his feelings, made his own decisions, and hoped against all odds for his happily ever after. A deadly combination when a man wants you and takes his devotion to that level. Hannah was a good match for Brukr. Her horrific background added the necessary layers to her personal ...more

So many levels of awesomeness

You are going to love this book! Hannah and Brukr are fully unrepentant damaged individuals, but you will love them anyway. They are proud, stubborn and honorable to a fault. The story is packed with action and violence and a bad guy that you don't see coming. It is well written, very clean technically, and easy to read because the story just flows so smoothly. You are going to hate putting it down even to sleep. Don't miss your chance to read this fantastic story th

I Love This Book!

I love this series! Hannah and Brukr are super characters. They and the supporting cast add so much depth to the Preor Dragon's living on Earth. They are strong, caring, protective and hopelessly lost when dealing with the human women they love. Their "off with their heads" solution to every slight, real or imagined, is reminiscent of siblings bickering...until it isn't. These dragons can be deadly when confronting an enemy. However, it's the humor in these books that puts a smi

Another awesome entry into the Preorder series. Celia Kyle's personal brand of humor runs rampant throughout this book and you couldn't ask for anything better. I've never been able to decide which Preor is my favorite and I find myself in the same quandary. I adored Brukr in all his sexiness and unwillingness to back down from anyone. Hannah is endearing and gorgeous in mind and self. These two make an awesome couple who you can't help but root for from beginning to end. R

Fun reading to the end

I have enjoyed reading all the the books from Celia Kyle. She has a witty sense of humor and is a heartfelt romantic. The action series this story offered was compelling. I found myself actually hating Eric more throughout the story. Her alien heroes are strong characters. After meeting so many different characters, Kyle leaves the reader wondering who is next to find their fated mate.

I like the story, and I loved Brukr, he just made me want to hug him. But Hannah got on my nerves, there's being an honest and hardworking person, and there's being an idiot and she fell too far on the idiot side. Apparently unless you are working your feet till they bleed, at a 10 hour hard labour job you don't deserve to get paid.
So not my favorite h and honestly there were moments she really was TSTL. But I still love the series and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Great series!

I have thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series to date, and I'm looking forward to reading the books to come. I hope Kyle was hinting at a book for Liquid Knot. This character's snark and her giving "life" to the computer have intrigued my curiosity.
If you enjoy chivalry, dragon men, sassy women, and adventurous romance these are your books. Enjoy!

Worthy Male

What traits must one have to be a worthy mate? Honor, dedication, trust. Brukr doesn't feel worthy and he feels he continues to dishonor when he wants to claim a mate without the knowing. Another awesome book to add to the series. Action, adventure, and a saucy spaceship.

Read it, again, Sam...

This will be the second read through of the series and I still couldn't out it down. Sure I remember the stories but it was just a fun read that it sucked me in, much like the first read through. On to the next one!

This one was not a favorite of mine. I just hated the heroine that Brukr was paired with. She drove me crazy and wasn't even reasonable most of the time. I just felt sorry that Brukr had a terrible mate.
