This is a a first for me, in longer than I can remember, if at all, but I have no rating for this book, because I have no clue what I read. I even read the first 50% twice to try to get a handle on things, then I thought bugger it the ending will put it all together. Unfortunately, it left me feeling even more lost.

Shelves: erotic
This novel was a bit different than I was expecting. There is a lot going on and you can kind of get that from the synopsis. Many moving parts and many characters and journeys. There is a lot of deep thought and emotion that will come from this. I found myself thinking about things a little bit more in depth after reading.

It says erotic and yes, there are many moments of it, but I definitely felt that the theme of this novel was not the eroticism, but the emotions and journey of the characters.

Despite the cover and the character's name I was expecting a more Japanese/Oriental vibe from this novel which I didn't get so I was disappointed with that, however, it did have a good story and likable characters so this did redeem it a little.
