Mackenzie Cox is a professional motorcycle racer living in Oceanside, California. Racing had always been her dream, & she didn't have a Plan B, so she didn't know what to do when everything she loved was abruptly stripped away. Cox racing closed & her father gave her an ultimatum, and made her choose between her boyfriend and competing. Kenzie chose Hayden & is now left without a team. She's trying everything she can to get on a team before the new seaso

Maybe it was the excitement I was feeling for this books arrival that made me give it 5 stars right after finishing But I'm changing my star score from 5* to 2*. Which is very bad for me. I practically throw

Dangerous Rush vibrates with all-consuming emotions, layered with conflicting thoughts and actions. The intensity of the story takes you from 0 to 100 in the blink of an eye. Passion, drama, and heartbreak pour from the pages, completely enrapturing the reader with every word written.

The forbidden romance that we fell in love with in Furious Rush is put to the test in Dangerous Rush when loved ones stop at nothing to break up Hayden and Kenzie, and an ex-girlfriend is back in the picture. Secret

While I'm already a huge fan of SC Stephens, what made me most excited for this book was the fact that I absolutely LOVED Furious Rush, the first book in this series. After the cliffhanger in the last book, I have been dying to pick up this sequel.

Kenzie's life has always revolved around racing. Until it didn't. Kenzie has lost everything except for Hayden Hayes, the love of her life. Kenzie thought, without a doubt, that Hayden was worth more than her racing career, but as Hayden has been keep

"Riding a race bike is an art—a thing that you do because you feel something inside.”~Valentino Rossi

If you've ever been to a NASCAR, Formula One, motocross, or other race, you know that racing is a sensory-driven sport where you feel a buzz in the air. If you race a car or motorcycle on the track or road, you feel that power gush behind the wheel. Like action-packed racing, books can give that rush. Dangerous Rush by SC Stephens sends the senses spinning around the track in a RUSH of a ROMANCE

OMG just finished Dangerous Rush by S.C. Stephens. "THE FEELS!!!!!!!!!!"

The entire book is fucking angst. My heart couldn't stop pounding. I wanted to throw my fucking kindle and I felt at times I was dying inside. I started this book last night but had to put it down at midnight because I had to work in the am. And yeah went to work for the morning and I needed to read so yeah I fucking took the afternoon off to come home and finish it. Yup just went and emailed my boss and said yeah I'm taking

DANGEROUS RUSH picks up several weeks after FURIOUS RUSH.  Mackenzie and Hayden are trying to pick up the pieces of Cox Racing closing its doors and Hayden's racing team hiring his ex-girlfriend.  Things have never been easy for this couple and DANGEROUS RUSH definitely puts them to the test.

I had been looking forward to this book because I wanted to know what happened next with Kenzie and Hayden.  But I felt like the story fell a little fl

At the end of Furious Rush when Hayden’s past collided with his present, I knew S.C. Stephens was preparing to take readers on a complicated angst-filled journey in Dangerous Rush, and boy was I right! I NEVER felt settled or even that hopeful about Hayden and Kenzie making it through this rough patch because there was always someone or something attempting to tear them apart, and it also seemed that they too easily allowed a divide to be built between them, forgetting how dishonesty and feeling ...more

This book should have been called Furious Rush, cause that's exactly how Hayden made me feel. FURIOUS!! Maybe that's a bit harsh, but damn the man, WTAF was he thinking? Clearly he wasn't!

So I basically consumed this book. I was too anxious to put it down and only did after I saw things turn a bit. But then I was up at 4am reading it made me angsty and angry and so sad and disappointed. Hayden hides the truth from Kenzie (lies by omission and outright lies) and then he well does some

Dangerous Rush is a heart pounding, adrenaline induced MUST READ!

Going into this novel, I was a little nervous. I have been anticipating the release of Dangerous Rush since reading the final page of Furious Rush. To say that could put some pressure on not only a reader and blogger but also an author would be an understatement.

I am very pleased to announce I loved this novel..maybe a little more than the first book in the series (Furious Rush). It has been a lon

Furious Rush left me rubbing my hands together in giddy anticipation of this next book in the series. I remember thinking that the level of angst had just been turned up a few notches, which was exactly where I wanted it to go, and exactly where I expected this author to take the story. Dangerous Rush took that level of angst and revved it up even higher. I was feeling all of the familiar pangs of emotion and turmoil, but it was elevated to a point that made my heart pound that little

So I am sort of sitting on the fence when it comes to Dangerous Rush. I love S.C. Stephen and she is an author that helped secure my reading addiction years ago so for me to not be screaming down the house about Dangerous Rush is difficult for me. Now I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either so that it sits me directly on the fence of which way do I go or do I stay in the middle and straddle both sides. I t

I remember being incredibly confused at the ending of book one and I am happy to say that this second instalment continues where the last one left us hanging.

Now it was Kenzie who frustrated me in the first book. I felt her character was too weak to be a likeable heroine, however she really became so much stronger in this story. I'd go so far as to say she finally grew a set of balls.

We get to know Hayden so much more in this book, due to the chapters being told almost alternately in both Ken

Loved it!

Get ready for another amazing wild ride from Author S.C. Stephens.

Hayden is one man that had me loving him one minute and wanting to save him the next minute.
He is such a complex character that easily won my heart in the end but there were times I wanted to shake some sense into him when it came to his love for Kenzie.

Kenzie is one tough independent woman which I love but her stubbornness and angst with Hayden and with her father also had me wanting to smack some sense into her as well.

Another fantastic installment to this story!

I absolutely love the saga of Hayden and Kenzie.

Although book one did not end in a true cliffhanger, it definitely left us with plenty of questions about Hayden’s past and Kenzie’s future. Book two will definitely give you the answers you’re looking for, but if you expected it to be easy for them, you’re mistaken. If there’s one thing SC Stephens does really well, it’s complicated.

Love, lust, angst, heartache - this book has a little bit of everything,

This is a great read. While it lacks some of the action packed adrenaline rush from the first book, it is more emotional and more character driven.

Kenzie has lost everything by choosing to stand by Hayden. Her family's race business has collapsed, leaving her without a ride and her father has used his influence in the race community to have her blackballed for not bowing to his wishes. Suddenly adrift and without a backup plan, Kenzie struggles to find her way.

Hayden feels guilty that Kenzie g

I have been anxiously waiting for Furious Rush to see what happens with Kenzie and Hayden now that Felicia showed up in Book one. We pretty much start where Dangerous Rush ends. I had fallen for Hayden and was skeptical about Kenzie. But once I was able to get past the first book feelings, I feel that we reached the next level for these two. However, it was Hayden that was making all the mistakes. His heart is always has the best intentions. The lines will start to blur once the past starts to c ...more

I’m not sure I can put into words what I’m feeling after reading this book. I have felt so many emotions throughout the book—I went from anger, to disgust, to devastation, to love—and I have no idea what to do with them all. But then, this is the beauty of books. The best ones make you feel all sorts of things, things you don’t necessarily want to feel. And Dangerous Rush definitely did that to me. And I loved to hate it, and vice versa.

Since this is not a standalone, I don't want to give too mu

I am going to start off by saying that I don't like SC Stephens. Not at all. Why?? Because you makes me feel for the characters. She makes me grow attached to them like they are my own feelings and makes me want more for them.

Throughout this whole book, I was thinking off all the ways things could go wrong and how frustrated I was because they didn't go the way why I like. But I liked that. I like being emotionally attached to the story and the characters because then when they get to the end o

I mentioned in my Furious Rush Review how unsatisfied I felt about the conclusion. At the time, there wasn’t any news about a follow-up to Hayden and Kenzie’s story and how I wished we knew more about the after effects of Kenzie’s crucial decision. So I felt so much relief as soon as I heard about this second book. Question is, were all of the unanswered questions addressed in the second book?

Hayden and Kenzie’s ended up having a wonderful relationship at the end of Furious Rush. I ex

Well let me start by saying that the angst, and the wtf moments were free flowing in this read!
Although this book is part of a series, I had not read book one and I had no trouble at ALL following and understanding the story. The plot was easy to understand, exciting and well paced.
The characters were so well developed, so real, I loved and hated them.

After the way book 1 ended I was excited to start this book. We start with a glimpse into Hayden's past so we can understand a bit about why Felicia's showing up is such slap to the face. It was crazy to read about Hayden's past and the things that he went through years ago with his friends. They had a rough time and now 4 years later it seems to have some hope for peace and happiness.
