CAMILLE'S DAWN----
He is at his wits ends. He just does not have the strength to live any more. Ulrich Mason has a hole in his soul without Camille. Just one more night he wishes.

Tia wishes she could just remember a little something about her mother. But all the memories are gone-Camille's smell, her touch, her laughs anything that would remind you of someone. She doesn't know why she cannot remember.

Luc, poor soul, he has beaten himself down so hard for the tragedy that he caused the whole fa

This collection had three stories: Camille's Dawn, by Kate Douglas; Midnight Man, by Sharon Page; and Night Pleasures, by Kathleen Dante.

I didn't actually read Douglas' story because I really kind of hate the Chanku universe. I started, got a few pages, and just skipped it entirely as it was as ridiculous as I remember.

Page's story was the best here, never mind the fact that it managed to accomplish a thing that I've never experienced before: I thought the vampire was sexy. And I don't do sexy v

Okay maybe not quite a 4 but better than a 3...short story by Kate Douglas is the reason I bought it. It was just okay for me.

❤❤❤

These three stories are very erotic, explicit and overflowing with sex. I hate to say they are simply cheap thrills because for the most part there is quality writing and decent stories, but they are very much geared toward lady porn. I'm not exactly complaining, but in the end it was only mediocre reading.

Camille’s Dawn by Kate Douglas

❤❤❤ (but contains/implies some really iffy aspects)

Going into this story I knew nothing about Kate Douglas and her Wolf Tales series. A series about the Chan

Camille’s Dawn – Kate Douglas
A restless, sensual spirit, held captive by one who binds her with both love and hate, Camille yearns for freedom beyond the earthly plane. Her only hope lies in the supernatural powers of an extraordinary shapshifter, the unquenchable desire of her one true love and a magical night of impossible passion...

With this story I caught a glimpse of the Chanku World, a world of shape-shifting wolves, created by Kate Douglas.
It is part of a series, Wolf Tales, but even wit

Good read. It contains the fourth entry in the Chanku series from Kate Douglas which is a tear-jerker. Chanku stories are not for the faint of heart - they normally contain VERY sexy shifters who play both sides of the street with enthusiasm and embrace the concept that 'more is better' [or maybe it's the 'pack that plays together, stays together':]. The other two stories by Sharon Page and Kathleen Dante are both good read-onces. The authors are worth pursuing.

Camille's Dawn by Kate Douglas

This story is really just some closure for Camille, Ulrich and the reader. We really don't know Camille personally, as she is dead before we get a chance. This story gives her mate and daughter a chance to say goodbye and let go. It was a sad story but still filled with all that Kate Douglas stuff you love.

WARNING: This story has plenty of graphic G/G and M/M sexual exploits as well as threesomes and foursomes. Occasionally there is borderline bestiality, which ca

Loved Kate Douglas’s story about Camille spirit, which is trapped and reawaken by Keisha’s pregnancy. It’s a beautiful story about love and forgiveness

Sharon Page “Midnight Man” – lots and lots and lots of sex, ~90% of the story.

“Nigh Pleasures” by Kathleen Dante was my least favorite. I’ve read several of her works, like her style of writing, her characters but the story didn’t quite hit the mark.

I originally bought this book for one of my go-to authors, Kate Douglas. However, it is now one of my favourite re-reads because of the other authors. All the stories are really well written, and all of the authors have since become stand alone in their own right. If you are not sure if you like the genre, start with this book!

I only read Kate Douglas' story in this book so my review is only on that story. In this story we are with Ulrich while he goes into the beyond to have one last night with his wife and hopefully help her move on. It's a very touching story of love and of course plenty of good sex!!!

This was a decent anthology. Pretty sexy erotica, a lot of shape-shifter and paranormal world building from other books in series that I haven't read, so I didn't quite get it all. Nothing outstanding.

Some people just seem to know they are meant to write, but it can still take a while to figure out exactly what their career will entail. Kate Douglas started out writing radio copy for a country western radio station in 1972, wrote and illustrated an educational cartoon strip for the American Mosquito Control Association for a number of years, was a newspaper reporter for a small town weekly wher ...more
