Ahhh-flying-saucer-shooting-star-CHOO! Laughter is the best medicine when you're a little alien feeling under the weather.

Little Alien is sick. And sick is extra-terrestrial bad when you have two scratchy throats, five ears that hurt, and three runny noses. Splatch! Sputter! Spurt! Luckily Mama and Daddy Alien have an arsenal of lunar decongestants and meteor showers on ha

It is that time of year that folks crowd doctor's offices, pharmacy lines for prescriptions grow lengthy, OTC products fly off the shelves, and folks huddle under wraps as they recover from colds, sniffles, flu and other ailments. And it is a time when Moms and Dads, Grannies and Aunties read to the sick and infirm little ones in their midst. And there is a new book that fills the bill hilariously taking a shot at the sick and infirm that might be "out there."

Think spacey, think little aliens,

This newly published picture book tells the story of Little Alien, who is down and out, and his family who is trying to help him to feel better. I really like the ideas in this book, and the illustrations are adorable. Any child who is interested in alien life would get a kick out of things like Little Alien having two throats, five ears, and three noses! Some children might not understand all of the

A great addition to my school library's collection of books about being sick! I definitely appreciate the humor and outer space references throughout the story, although some of these may need to be explained to younger listeners. The illustrations are in a very simple and soft style that would definitely be soothing to a kiddo at home looking at this book on a sick day.

Hello, friends! Today, we’re reviewing Aliens Get The Sniffles Too! Ahhh-Choo!, written by Katy S. Duffield and illustrated by K. G. Campbell, the tale of a little alien with a nasty cold.

Little Alien has a terrible bug: both of his throats are scratchy, his three noses are stuffy, and all five of his ears are stopped up and sore. Fortunately, he has a loving family to care for him. Daddy Alien

This book is set in outer space at the home of Little Alien and his parents. The cast includes his canine companion, Mars Rover.

The story begins when Little Alien comes down with a cold. This is a major event because this guy has two throats, five ears, and three noses. Can you imagine?

Daddy Alien jets off in his spaceship to retrieve some cold remedies from around the galaxy. These clever remedies include a Milky Way milkshake, some water mixed with stardust, and shooting-star ear drops.

There has been a nasty bug going through our school lately. Kids are dropping fast and if the bug hasn't hit your child's daycare or school will. When our kids were little, I had a collection of items that I saved for "sick days". Movies, games, and favorite books to snuggle and read while they were home sick. This would make the perfect book to make your little one feel better.

Being sick is rough, but when you are an alien and you have two throats, five ears, and three noses, it is eve

“Aliens Get the Sniffles Too! Ahhh-Choo!” is a cute, imaginative story by Katy S. Duffield. Readers will discovery that even little aliens can feel under the weather sometimes, and that alien parents also have plenty of remedies to try to make their little ones feel better. The symptoms and attempts at making Little Alien feel better are mostly recognizable to a child who has had a few minor sickness

Aliens Get the Sniffles Too is about an alien named Little Alien who was sick one day. Mama and Daddy alien tried everything to make him feel better. They got him a Milky Way milkshake, put stardust in his ears and even called the lunar decongestants to clean out his nose, but nothing worked! Until their dog Mars Rover came up with a great idea, he put on a fun show for Little Alien and that made him feel better. This book was adorable! The plot was so cute and was perfect for little kids, they ...more

Little Alien is very sick and it is even worse because he has three noses and five ears. His parents try to find ways to make him feel better, but nothing they try helps the little alien. Mars rover (Little Aliens extraterrestrial dog) get sad that the little alien is not feeling better so decides to find a way to fix the problem. Mars rover does tricks and puts on a show to make the little alien laugh, and eventually Little Alien feels better, but then someone else ends up getting sick too. Bec ...more

Little Alien was very sick Mom and Dad Alien tried everything: Milky Way milkshakes, Shooting Star eardrops, and Lunar decongestants. When nothing worked, Mars Rover, Little Alien's dog, put on a show including magic tricks, flying, and silly stunts. Little Alien felt better in no time, but soon Mars Rover got sick!

I liked this book. The references to space in the writing were humourous and gave the book a light-hearted feel.

This book would be good when teaching about space because it references

A little alien child is sick and his parents and dog try to help him feel better in this fun story. The clever use of familiar space/alien terms, characters, and stories will have readers making connections throughout the book. The familiar subject of a sick child whose parents are trying to help him get well will ring true for most families. Kids will love noticing the space references, like the Mil
Little Alien comes down with a cold and it's the worst because he has 2 throats, 5 ears, and 3 noses and they're all congested. His parents try all kinds of things to help Little Alien feel better (from treats, to medicine, to home remedies), but the only thing that works is when Mars Rover (think alien dog with many legs, eyes, and tails) - Little Alien's pet and best friend - makes him laugh. Lots of punny things here that adults and kids will appreciate. I particularly enjoyed the 3-eared, gr ...more

This funny little story will make even the sickest listener giggle. With colorful illustrations and sly space puns, Little Alien faces the same types of things little Earthlings face when they have a cold... like cold drinks, ear drops, cool baths, and decongestants – all with an alien twist. Parents, listeners and early readers will enjoy this title. I recommend it for public libraries.

Little Alien is sick. We all know how bad that feels, but Little Alien has two throats feeling scratchy, five ears that ache, and three runny noses. Ouch!

Can anyone help make Little Alien feel better? They try everything!
