A devotional book set out to take the reader into deeper intimacy with God through forty days of active meditation on different aspects of the Lord and His dwelling place. I particularly like his 'circle of prayer' - passions, people, possessions, purpose, problems.

As you take this spiritual journey to the mountain of God you gain an accurate perspective of your current intimacy level with God, what intimacy is and is not, and the world around you. You need a healthy "heart"/inner man for the journey. During the journey you may not realize the state your heart is in. If it is sick or weak it will show up immediately and may trip you up but be encouraged. Stay the course. Don't do it alone but with someone with whom you can honestly communicate with and pray for you.
