Declan O’Brien was always driven to take his place among Philly’s elite, working hard for everything he’s earned, including the title of Assistant District Attorney. He’s won seemingly impossible cases, so he’s furious when he’s assigned to lead the one unit he doesn’t want.

Melissa Fenske was born hearing impaired to a neglectful mother, finding solace when she was adopte

Ever since their disastrous first encounter, Melissa and Declan have sparked my curiosity. I was thoroughly entertained by the pair, especially as Declan continued to put his foot in his mouth lol Melissa is my kind of heroine. She is stable and confident in who she is but has understandable fears and insecurities like the rest of us. Declan was a strong lead, persistent and sexy as hell to boot. He has a good heart but it might take a second look to notice the subtleties. While I admit that Dec ...more

Throughout the O'Brien Family series, we always had Declan as the One who was going to make a name for himself... the One who had all his plans laid out. All Declan needed to do was stay the course, keep being successful with his prosecutions and the DA's office would be his start up the political ladder.

The family knew this was his destiny and so far he was on target. However, all this ambition and drive came with a price. When he saw what

An emotional story that hooked me from the start and I couldn’t put it down until the very sweet end.

As one of the oldest of seven siblings, Declan always saw himself as one of his family’s providers and protectors, driven to succeed in public office first as District Attorney and perhaps mayor to obtain the power to safeguard his family and the people of his city. He’s worked hard to get his A.D.A. tittle and is less than happy when his boss moves him to lead the unit no one wants, espe

This series has come with highs and lows for me, but throughout, one thing has been constant: I've been eagerly awaiting Declan O'Brien's arrival.

description

In the previous books we've seen poor old Declan put his foot firmly in his mouth with the D.A's daughter, Melissa but when they're forced to work together--her as Director of Victim Services and he as the not entirely willing leading attorney of that unit--then their whole relationship is taken to another level.

"We work together. This c

Office romances don't always work for me. Feel Me did. I am a happy bunny.

Declan O'Brien appointed A.D.A is smooth, women love him and he loves women. But there is one woman who doesn't fall for his charms. The less she falls the more he wants her.

I didn’t always like our male lead in this book but he grew on me and in the end I was rooting for me. He did try to make up in the grovel department but not enough for me to be honest.

Melissa Fenske doesn't like Declan she think

This is the story of . . .
Assistant District Attorney, soon-to-be acting D.A., Declan is an ambitious and career driven man. He cares about two things, his family and his job. After watching his father throw away the love his mother and his siblings, Declan has a skewed view of love. Mainly that he doesn’t believe in it. He’s your typical commitment-phobe and cynic. His whole life has been about getting ahead, getting promoted and reaching his end goal of one day running for office.

I really enjoyed this book. Melissa is hearing impaired and had a traumatic event happen in her childhood. As an adult, she fights for victims rights. Declan is the acting DA and has to work on some cases with Melissa. There are some really good steamy scenes and this couple has fantastic chemistry. A little more angsty than I was prepared for but overall a really good book!

Feel Me is the latest release in Cecy Robson's O'Brien Family series and I've been I've been looking forward to Declan and Melissa's book ever since we saw their first meeting. I love the way confident Declan, the man who can charm any woman he comes into contact with, constantly puts his foot in his mouth around Melissa. He's the kind of guy that has women falling all over him but when it comes to Melissa he gets so flustered and makes all the wrong moves and it was just so funny to see him wro ...more

My English review

I love Cecy Robson and this series, like all the others, is always a treat to follow! I’m a little late but I was excited to get into Feel Me, the fourth volume of the saga.

We discover Melissa, a deaf young woman who really did not have an easy childhood and is now working with her adoptive father in the department of victims of abuse, mainly for women and children. But then, things will change when one day her father, sick, decides to retire and leave h

Book Review For: Feel Me by Cecy Robson 'Feel Me' by Cecy Robson is book is book Four in the 'O'Brien Family" series. This is the story of Declan O’Brien and Melissa Fenske. I have not yet read the other books in this series so for me this was a standalone series. Melissa was cut a bad deal early on in life. Besides having hearing issues she was gonna be sold by her mother for drug money. But Melissa was a fighter and got away..that is when she met her now adopted father Miles. Miles gave her lo ...more

Feel Me was such a good read.

The storyline was well written, the plot was emotional, heartfelt and held my interest all throughout the book.

The main characters Declan and Melissa were strong, likable characters that I easily connected with, they captured my heart with their story.
I loved watching their relationship unfold, they had a strong attraction but every time they found themselves in the same room Declan would somehow say something to offend/annoy Melissa and they'd end up argui

Neither counted on each other. Both just met their match. .... ALL THE YESes!

I've waited for this book since I met Declan and Melissa in the first one. Cecy finally put me out of my misery and gave me what I wanted. I'm pretty meh about romance lately, but Feel Me gave me all the feels.

Declan is on the rise. He's an Assistant D.A. who takes his career serious and has high aspirations. Not to mention the man is muy caliente! He has no problem with the ladies, except when it comes to Melissa. They didn't exactly start out on the right foot and he tends to muddle it up when

Excellent book! I so enjoyed reading this one. I really like how the main character isn't perfect and how they don't have the perfect relationship but find ways to make it work. I also loved the family interactions in this series. Family series are awesome. I love getting to know all the members.
Cecy Robson is a great author and writes awesome books. If your looking for a new read try out this series.
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I stayed up late last night to finish this because I was so wrapped up in Declan and Melissa and I was in tears and I had to know what would happen for them.

Declan and Melissa have a tenuous relationship. Their very first meeting was a complete disaster and every time they've seen each other since it's been awkward and uncomfortable. I know, you're thinking why don't they just avoid being around each other? Well, they can't because Declan is the ADA and his boss is Melissa's dad. Don't forget t

The idea of a hearing impaired heroine was interesting. I also really liked that this was a factor in their relationship, in who Melissa is, but not a deal breaker. This appealed to me, as it was nice to see a heroine who was less than the "ideal" but still the heroine of the story, and perfect for Declan, the hero. I really liked that.

Oddly, though, I thought there were times when the hearing loss that she deals with was too much of

Declan tries to bring one of his woman's fantasies to life, “or a pirate on the seven seas, my bare chest exposed to the wicked winds.” He bows his head. “And if you want the truth, I don’t even own a kilt.” I cover my mouth. “But I’m not so bad. And if it’s the kind of thing that turns you on, I’m sure I can find a place that rents a**less chaps.” I love the O'Brien family they're loud, chaotic, and flipping crazy, "Declan barely blinks. “This is Melissa and her father, Miles,” he announces. “S ...more

I have enjoyed all of Cecy Robson's O'Brien books, but Feel Me is close to my heart. Melissa, our heroine, is hearing impaired. The nuances of being hearing impaired that she shares in the book are things that I deal with daily. The frustration of hearing aids, the oddness of plunging yourself into a silent world, the daily struggle of communication...Everything Melissa mentioned had me feeling less alone in my personal struggle with hearing loss.

As if that wasn't enough to make me adore M

Melissa Fenske is the hearing impaired head of Victim Services working with the head of the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit, or SACU for short, run by her father District Attorney Miles Fenske. Melissa's father has a recurrence of his cancer and he has asked Declan O'Brien to take over SACU and become acting District Attorney in his place. This series has had my heart from the first story and Mel and Declan’s story began way back then so I was more than ready to dive into this read. Each read has been a warm hug of emotion, family, laughter and all the feels I could ask for. This one is my new favourite!

Having read and enjoyed books 1 and 2 of this series, I was thrilled to receive an ARC for Book 4, Feel Me, in exchange for a fair, unbiased review. No, you didn’t miscount, nor did I, book 3 simply slipped past me. But not to worry, I hope to backtrack and read it sooner rather than later. Why? Mainly because of the British hunk of a handsome hero. Yeah, it’s a given he’ll be sporting a sexy, English accent, folks, and I just can’t say no to that.

There is just something about the O'Briens of Philly that has me all anticipation when I crack open the next book in the series. Is it because they are hardcore Philly people? Put the loud and loyal into family? Laugh out loud funny? Make me cry and sigh as they find their way through their troubles? Well, yeah! Do yourself a solid and pick these up, Feel Me?

At last! Sigh... I wanted Declan and Melissa's story since the moment in Curran's book when Deck just might have really stuck his foot in h

Cecy Robson has become one of my go-to authors for a great read that will suck you in from the very first page. The O’Brien boys are hot as sin and I’ve enjoyed each of the stories more than the last – Declan’s story being my favorite so far!

This is the fourth in the series, and I would definitely recommend that you read them in order. As each O'Brien sibling falls in love we get to understand more about this close knit yet complex family. Declan has to date been the most resistant to even the idea that love is real, so inevitably his fall is so much harder for him to deal with at all.

Told from both Declan and Melissa's viewpoints, we get to see how these t

I am new to Cecy Robson, I didn't realize this was the 4th book? Now I gotta play catch up and go backwards, I seems to be doing that with a lot of series lately. I can't wait to read even more from Cecy very very soon. Love her style. Love these characters, very fast paced, not much violence, love all the law related bits, it is a very emotional read to me.. Fantastic

Another fantastic contemporary Romance from Cecy Robson. I'm a huge fan of this series and I was not disappointed with Declan's story.

The O'Brien clan is big and rowdy but Declan has always been the serious one. He lives for his career with no time or desire for a real until he starts working closely with Melissa Fenske.

I get giddy with a new O’Brien Family novel hits my ereader and I knew that Declan’s story was going to be EPIC and it was!

Declan has a life plan. He wants to become the youngest head of Homicide/District Attorney that Philly has ever seen and he wants to one day become Mayor. And his plan definitely does not include love. He’s fine with the arm candy that graces his arm and his bed from time to time. He’s no fool. He knows that happily ever after doesn’t really exists, no matter what his family
