Joyfully His is book #3.5 in the Sterling Canyon series by Jamie Beck. This is my very first book by Jamie. I think that it might have helped if I had read the previous books in this series since I didn’t know any of the secondary characters but even though I haven’t, I still was able to enjoy this.

Two years ago Andy Randall was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He injured his now brother-in-law and has just now finished his probation. Sterling Canyon is a small town and the residents sti

A quick and entertaining novella about two people with issues falling in love. The best thing about the book was Nikki's self-esteem issues and Andy's shame over a past mistake rang true. The worst thing is the Stock Art cover. I get that using a stock photo is cheap and easy but the stock photo should be true to the characters and the story. A snow man? Really? And the models look nothing like the descriptions of the characters.

I know.

I'm being pedantic.

But covers are a sales device. They ar

Joyfully His by Jamie Beck is a heartwarming and enjoyable read.

The storyline was entertaining all throughout the book, the writing is well done and the characters were likable, relatable and I loved them together.
I enjoyed watching Andy and Nikki's relationship unfold, they made me smile, they touched my heart with their inner battles and they made me swoon.

Overall, Joyfully His is a sweet and heartwarming holiday read and a great addition to the Sterling Canyon series.

I was really happy to back in Sterling Canyon. I was even happier that we were going to see an HEA for a man that I really felt sorry for in past books … Andy Randall.

See, I believe in second chances. I also believe that people who make mistakes, own up to their mistakes, take responsibility for the mistakes, really, truly do deserve a second chance. I am thrilled that we are seeing this with Andy because his remorse shines through, not only in Joyfully His but in Accidentally Hers (Ste
Joyfully His is Andy's story. It's short and sweet.

If you are a fan of this series you will already know who Andy is. This story can be read as a standalone. However, it features some of the other chapters from other books, and it is nice knowing their stories.

Two years ago Andy was driving under the influence of alcohol and injured a pedestrian (Accidentally Hers, Book One is the victim's story). Now Andy is trying to put the past behind him, and pick up the pieces of his life. He loved being

For some reason, this isn't considered a full number in the Sterling Canyon series but I think it is the perfect closure—if Beck has really decided to part with them. But don't worry, this is short but it works well as a standalone.

We finally get to learn Andy's happy ending. The only number I still haven't read is the first but his unfortunate accident that led to a DUI has been mentioned in both of the sequels. Considering his twin sister and his victim are the protagonists of the first, I'm s

Joyfully His: Sterling Canyon Book 4 is by Jamie Beck. This is the final book in the Sterling Canyon series. It is the story of Andy Randall, twin of Avery. Andy was involved in a drunken vehicular accident in which he hit Grey Lowell, who is now his brother-in-law. Luckily Grey wasn’t injured too badly; but it came at a bad time in his business, Backtrax. Grey had just started the business and it wasn’t doing well yet. He and his friend Trip Lexington tried very hard to keep it going while Grey ...more

So, I just finished Duke of Desire yesterday, where the hero had a horrible scar across his face, and decided to read this. AND guess what? The heroine has a scar across her face! AND she was described as “plain” and the hero was beyond belief beautiful and in love with her. Seriously? As if that is ever going to happen. When are authors going to make both the heroine and hero plain or too plump or unattractive so the story makes more sense.

Anyway, this was about Andy, who was arrested for drun

Joyfully His is a short and sweet read. If you've read the rest of the series, which I highly recommend, then you know that we are finally getting Andy's story. I've been wanting to know more about Andy since the first book in the series and I am so happy to finally get it.

Two years ago, Andy was driving under the influence of alcohol and accidentally hit a pedestrian. He is finally done with probation, trying to put the past behind him and pick up the pieces of his life. It isn't easy getting t

Andy is still dealing with the aftereffects of drinking and driving two years later. He regrets the terrible decision he made but he is finding out that most people in his hometown only see him for that one night and not for who he was before or the person he has worked hard to become.

Nikki has been attracted to Andy for quite some time but when she tried to take their friendship further it was quickly rebuffed. He has approached her for a job at the ski school she manages, and she has convinced

People with money, power r horrible, they control the others, do whatever they like, telling lies n push the other in the bottom.

We all did something we won’t proud of, even hurting others. We deserve second chance, a life that we r happy. Now Andy n Kiki, what’s next Amy?

I so enjoyed going back to Sterling Canyon and I loved Andy and Nikki's story. Two years after that fateful night that changed his life Andy is trying to put his life back on track. Personally he's made amends to the people he hurt but professionally he's still trying to get back to where he was. People in Sterling have long memories though so getting them to move on isn't as easy as it sounds. Nikki Steele, his former boss and friend, may be the one person who can help. When he's given the oppo ...more

Introducing Nik and not having in the rest of the series provided a lack of depth to her character. It was so fast and the book felt rushed. I loved the others this was was just okay for me.

I have never read any of the books in this series, so I wasn't familiar with the backgrounds of the characters, but you really didn't need to be. It was a very enjoyable book, that was perfect as a standalone.

Andy Randall just finished his 2 years of being on probation after being involved in a DUI. He was behind the wheel drunk, hit his now brother in law, who ended up meeting Andy's sister who's a PT and marrying her. Living in a small town, gossip spreads like a wild fire, and everybody judge

My Review:
This is a quick satisfying little holiday read.

Andy has been a well-known face in the series. He's the guy who drove drunk and almost ruined Grey's life (Grey was the hero in one of the books in the series previously and is now married to Avery, Andy's twin sister.) So, anyway, Andy's been there all along. He's a guy who screwed up...but he's paid for that crime and is trying so hard to get on with his life...not so easy to do in this very small community. But the thing he misses most

I really enjoyed this book -- it's probably the best and most realistic one I've read from the Sterling Canyon books. As a downhill skier myself, and friends with a lot of ski instructors, I totally get the culture of skiers and I was delighted that a favorite hobby of mine -- something I could relate to -- was the backdrop for this story. I really actually liked Nikki as well as Andy (which is amazing cuz a lot of times I really feel that the characters in romance novels are one dimensional). T ...more

I have been anxious for Andy's story. From the previous books you know his tragic past involving a night out drinking and driving and injuring Grey, but now we get Andy's side.

Andy done something wrong, he knows that, he done the crime and completed his time.- yet others won't ever let him move on. He is mired up in their judgment and feels his every move is watched -waiting for him to mess up again. Andy is vulnerable and wants their approval and acknowledgement that what he done was completel

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review. This is a solid 4 star romance.
I really like this series by Jamie Beck and have been waiting for Andy's turn at an HEA.
Sometimes being in a small town has its disadvantages especially when people can't move on and forgive someone for past mistakes. No matter how hard he tries Andy can't seem to shed the stigma from his stupid actions and the DUI he had a couple of years ago that also injured Grey Lowell our hero from the second

Throughout the Series of Sterling Canyon you learn about Andy. This is a short look into his life after his accident. I really liked this book. I was a little disappointed that Jamie did not turn this into another novel. The Nikki's character was not quite as developed as she could have been and their past was not given in the book.

Andy's main force was clearly stated and his personality came through and was totally understandable. He has always been part of the force in these books. His life is

I have read all the Sterling Canyon books and was happy to see this one focuses on Avery's brother Andy.

All the other couples make quick appearances, and it is wonderful to see enduring love and friendship between them.

Another big theme throughout the book is forgiveness, and taking responsibility for your actions. Andy knows the accident he caused while drinking and driving was a terrible mistake. The judgement he feels from some in his small town doesn't make moving on any easier, even after h

"I Loved This Story" ❤❤

I loved Andy and Nikki's story; "Joyfully His, the final book of the Sterling Canyon Series." It touched not only my heart, but also the depths of my Soul. Although it's considered a novella, you couldn't tell by the abundance of EMOTION, DETERMINATION and the importance of TRUST and FORGIVENESS that was compiled within a limited amount of chapters.

With the fact you intertwined each book with all the main characters from them all, it made each one more real, more personal,

Welcome back to the small ski town, Sterling Canyon. This is Andy's story...remember Andy? The twin of Avery, and the guy who drove drunk and plowed into Avery's now-hubby Grey. Andy is trying to get his life together and is on probation at his old job, as a ski instructor at the local ski resort. No one is a harsher critic of his past than Andy himself. He has always had a thing for Nikki, the manager of the ski school, but always felt as if she had him in the friend zone. He is desperately try ...more

I liked Andy, didn't connect with Nikki and disliked every other character in the book as per usual with this series. I get it Andy made a mistake that could have led to unforgivable consequences and yet no one seemed to understand how remaining in a place that never let him move on from his mistake would play with his psyche.

If Andy wasn't funny, nice and making others feel good about himself someone had to give him a lecture about how happy he SHOULD be and how he should live his life. I want

This story has both cursing (including f-bombs) and on-screen sex so if those things will cause you to leave a bad review, you should skip this one.

Although I still struggle with Andy as a character, this was a sweet little story and I enjoyed seeing him getting his happily ever after. The premise of this story was really great, and I loved the looks in on the lives of the other Sterling Canyon characters we have come to know and love. (I swooned for Kelsey and Trip in this one!) I've had this on my Kindle for a while now and finally got around to reading it over the holiday season. I liked that Beck chose to use a female character who was not your typical beauty queen type. I do wish it was longer though. Whenever I read "novella" as a subtitle, I am wary that the author has rushed through either the storyline or the characters. This one did not feel overly rushed at all. I enjoyed the story especially during the Christmas season and will probably check out other titles ...more

A story of redemption & second chances. Andy made a mistake & paid dearly for it. After too much to drink, he got behind the wheel & ended up hurting someone. After serving probation, he's now ready to get on with his life.

Sterling Canyon book 3.5 is a very enjoyable quick read. This book brings you back to Sterling Canyon and gives you an update on all your favorite character, but best of all Andy gets his story.
