Review at Of Pens and Pages.

Dr. ER is a smart, fun, and sexy romance that will make you sing and dance to Shakira, crave blueberry pancakes, and hope for your own dirty-talking good doctor.

One commitment-phobe walks into the ER because of a sex-induced head injury… and walks out with the interest of one ER doctor.

If I adored Will “Dr. OBscene” Cummings, I absolutely fell in love with Scott “Dr. ERotic” Shepard. Scott is a guy who lives life to the fullest. He’s a man who enjoys his job

The second book in this adorable & hilarious Doctor Trilogy!
It's a kind of spin-off from the amazing Billionaire Bad Boys series - book #1's hero Will is the brother from the first Billionaire books' heroine Georgie! And Nick (Book #3's Dr. Neuro) is the ex and baby-daddy from book #3's Winnie.☺
You don't need to have read those Billionaire books, but you definitely should!!! They're hilarious and just perfect!
This new series will feature three hottie docs and their lives during/after they st

I'm completely ENCHANTED by every single thing about this book, about this series, and about this  author duo! This light-hearted, hilarious, and sexy as sin romance had me swooning from head to toe. I was absolutely CHARMED by Scott and Harlow! These two were just MAGIC together...PURE ROMANTIC COMEDY MAGIC! I shouldn't be surprised by how much I LOVED book #2 in Max Monroe's St. Lukes Docuseries,  but I am because they stepped up their game even more, and I'm not sure that was even possible!

Love to hate him...love to love him.

I think Max Monroe gets a kick out of me making squinty eyes at my fellow train passengers. There's something about these cocky buggers that make me a little cranky. They're so arrogant and full of themselves that I can't help but question whether I can be convinced they'll come good.

Of course, by the end, I'm shaking my head at my silliness. Dr Scott Shepard is amazing, sweet and totally loveable. Harlow is pretty cool too. I kind of get a kick out of a heroi

There's new release, then there's HOT new relase and this is Dr. ER by Max Monroe! Swear, this duo just keeps getting better and better. When you think they can't topped their previous one, you'll be tongue tied because man, you'll just be disappointed you thought wrong. But I'm sure you're twats will be flapping with glee visible with the creams in your knickers since they slayed it with it's sizzling and scorching doctor. Hot AF, dirty talking and flirt doctor anyone? Yes! Dr. Scott Shepard

“Complicated. That word had never sounded so good until Harlow.”

Ok I’m not quite sure WHY I didn’t read this one when it came out considering I’d read the other two books in the series when they did... but I’m glad I finally took the time to.

For some reason in Dr. OB I got the impression that Scott was a scandalous jerk of sorts. In Dr. ER we learn he’s a good time guy, and a comittaphobe, but he’s mostly just a great ER Doctor. His love interest is Harlow who is also a comittaphobe, a spitfire,

Love Dr. Erotica. Love Harlow. Love this romance. It has steamy passion with Max Monroe’s signature humor. I couldn’t put it down!

Dr. Erotica is perfect. Unlike the previous book, Scott has embraced his tv persona. He owns it, and he has used it to his advantage. What readers will come to realize, though, is that he really does have a pure heart behind all his philandering ways. Readers get to see how great of doctor he is and how good his intentions are

Another insanely hot and enticing book from Max Monroe!

I don't know how they do it, and at this point, I don't even care to know. Because holy mother of God!...each book Max Monroe releases is even BETTER than the last! I'm not kidding.

Dr. ER, Dr. Erotic, Dr. Scottie the Hottie, Dr. Melts-Me-With-His-Smile, or whatever you wanna call him, is just WOW! Unbelievable. Too good to be true. Downright dangerous to a woman's control. I cannot help but keep lamenting on how his character was an absolute

Scott Shepard is one of the doctors featured on the reality show, The Doctor is In. While the first subject of the series, Will Cummings (his story was Dr.OBscene) has had a time of it, Scott has toned down his every day habits, keeping his hook ups on the down low so they don't blow up and ruin his image as the cool, confidant, immensely talented head of St. Luke's Hospital's ER department. He's not about to give the gossip lovers anything to talk about.

This magical writing duo has done it again with the second book in their St. Luke's Docuseries, "Dr. Er."

Let's talk about me for a moment. My husband is out of town for work and we've been separated less than 5 times in 21 years. We don't do well without each other. At all. As an avid reader, I read one book every 1-2 days. Well yesterday I was so depressed about missing my husband that I couldn't even read. I'd try one book... couldn't get into. Would stop and stare at the wall. NOT GOOD. This

4.5 STARS!!!!

Dr. ERotic is one of those romantic comedies I wish I could read again like it’s the first time. I was damn sure I closed my e-reader with a silly grin on my face and I all but whooped because the Max Monroe I knew from the Bad Boy Billionaires series is back with its signature touch.

Who to blame for this killer happiness? Harlow and Dr.Scott. Oh my, this pair just fit so perfectly. Harlow is hands down one of the most chill and drama free heroine I have ever read. Don’t get me wro

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I am so about to shock the shit out of all you BXTCHES and even I can't believe that I'm about to utter type the following, but. . .this book can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. While I loved Dr. OB (book #1) and I highly recommend that you read it, the only thing really tying these two book together is the reality show that the two (and eventually three) doctors become a part of and even that is just a whisper in this story. Other than that, the main ones from the first ...more

Somewhat to my surprise, I loved this book.

You see, I'm a huge Max Monroe fan, but their first book in this series, Dr. OB, disappointed me. I felt like they trod familiar territory, and they seemed to rely too much on their Billionaire Bad Boys characters. I like Thatch, but he had his time, you know? I wanted Max Monroe to trust themselves enough to break away from Kline, Thatch, and Wes. They're good writers. They don't need to use those three characters as their crutch.

Harlow Paige is living her life day to day in a job going nowhere as she had planned to go into medical school and become a Pediatric Nurse/Doctor. Life though chucked bad decisions in her way, and she ended up not only losing her dream and writing for a trashy tabloid gossip magazine but also her confidence took a massive hit after a bad break-up from Brett. Years later, Harlow is trying to get back on the dating scene, and all she wants is to get laid. Her latest date was a boring rich pompous ...more

I have read several of Max Monroe’s books and LOVE her male characters – this book was no exception. Unfortunately, I had a hard time connecting to the female character in this book.

Harlow is a columnist at Gossip, a smut rag. She writes about celebrities and local folks in NY, and has found that her newest topic, Scott Shepard, AKA Dr. Erotic, is very interesting.

Scott Shepard is the head of the ER at St. Luke’s hospital in New York. He is a fun guy and has fun at work. He has a ritual before h

4.5 rounded up to 5 stars!

I needed a book that started with E for a reading challenge, and I found this randomly by a new to me author, and I AM SO GLAD! I'm going to go back and read everything from Max Monroe now, this was so good and different. Scott and Harlow act like adults in this book (why is that so rare?). There is no stupid miscommunication drama, even though there were plenty of places where lesser authors would have thrown it at us over and over again. They talked to each other and

I am loving this second series by Max Monroe. This book is just as good as the first which I wasn't expecting after my lukewarm feelings towards Harlow to start with. Once their relationship began, I started liking her. Scott was literally a character and I would have loved to see his start of shift perforance in the ER. I enjoyed the humor and banter between Scott and Harlow. I liked the brief appearance the characters from previous books made in the story. I am looking forward to Dr. Neuro.

This one didn't really do as much for me as the first one. I did like the premise, and the characters, just like the first. However, this one took me a while to read because it was slow and pretty much exactly like the first one.

There should've been differences from the first book. I really liked how they tied some of the first book into the second book, but there were too many similarities for me to thoroughly enjoy it. It felt like I was reading the exact same book as the first, just with dif

I can't get enough of Max Monroe books, I love them all. They entertain the crap out of me, they write killer banter, and have characters that I would kill to be besties with. Scott and Harlow are another awesome couple. They played so well off each other that it was another fun read.

This little series has me wanting to make hospitals my new hang out. The doctors are beyond sexy and just as with Will and Melody's story in Dr. OB, Scott and Harlow's story was totally hilarious and sexy.

Where Will and Mel shared awkwardness, Scott and Harlow shared reluctance. Neither of them wanted a relationship. They were perfectly happy out there in the dating field to get what they needed, so to keep their distance they had so many and VERY entertaining conversations where barbs were thr

Every time I pick up a book from Max Monroe, I don't think it can top the last one but I'm wrong every time.

I loved Scott and Harlow! The banter between them is fantastic and the chemistry is there from the very first ER trip! Which literally starts with a bang. Harlow and Scott both don't do relationships. Her more because of an ex and him because he is married to his job. That is until one night Harlow comes in with a head laceration and Dr. Erotic is the one patching her up.

4 stars. This was a good book! This was Harlow and Scott's story. Scott is a very good emergency room doctor. Nicknamed, Dr. Erotic, he is the snarky and funny star of a reality show. He saw how the show's creative editing showed Dr. OB in a poor light, so he made sure to be nothing but professional on his show.
