My name is Molly Brinks, but most people know me as Vivienne Foxx, bestselling author of chance meetings, stolen glances, and the much-needed happily ever after. My addictions include coffee, home improvement television, and the occasional pint of ice cream. The love of my life is an eighty-pound labrador retriever named Pee Wee.

Ever wonder what it'd be like to be one of your favourite smut authors? T.K. Leigh has given us a funny take on what it could be like. This book is filled with LOL moments and sarcastic humour which I enjoyed.

A dick was still a dick, regardless of whether it pissed in a gold-plated toilet or a porta-potty.

Although this wasn't really what I typically like as it's a little too 'straight' for me, I am still giving this 4 stars as I felt it was done well an

Funny, witty, clever and moving story.

This is my first RomCom by TK Leigh. I’ve read her Beautiful Lies series and really loved it.

In a tiny nutshell:
Writing Mr Right is about Molly, successful smutty writer and her quest for a muse. She’s successfully published several books but lost the spark somewhere in between.
“It was all the same. Girl meets boy. Girl has no interest in boy. Boy is sexy, perhaps a bit of a player.

As a T.K. Leigh virgin, I didn't know what to expect.

Now that I've finished this book, I'm sooooo happy that I got a chance to read this. It's cute, funny, and meaningful. I couldn't put this down.

Molly is a romance author that has the case of writer's block. Her temporary male muses usually do the trick, but she's tired of writing the same books. She wants to write more than just steamy sex scenes.

Although her novels are filled with romance, she personally doesn't believ

When I started this book I thought it was going to be a romantic fluff book. A little funny, a little romance and a predictable plot. I was so wrong and I’m so glad! 😁👏🏻
This book has excellent characters with a very strong romance that doesn’t take a predictable path at all. How can it? Molly is a romance writer who doesn’t believe in true love.
A very good book! You’ll laugh in a few places and you may cry in a few more. I’m glad I took the time to read it. 😊

Gosh, what a drama ilama. Molly, our FMC, has got to be in the top five most narcissistic book heroines. Nothing, and I mean nothing was ever good enough, I developed a bonafide migrane while in her head. Le boo hoo.

Anyways. I'm in the process of skipping from35% to 70% or else I may need a cool cloth for my head. And we can't have that now, can we? Sigh

I absolutely loved this story! I have never in my life laughed out loud this much while reading. So much so that my husband would look at me and I would just have to tell him the S@#$ that was coming out of Molly's mouth!
"Real love isn't real life."
That was the Motto Molly lived her life by. When she finds herself stuck with-out a Muse for the story she is writing she starts a very interesting journey and takes us on an adventure filled with laughter and lots of times when you may want to throw

Well my goodness Ms. Molly Brinks! What a life you have had at your twenty-nine plus one years. Now trying to get a book written by her publisher’s deadline, she is suffering from writer’s block.

“Real Love isn’t Real Life.”

Being raised by her Father and falling under the radar by her famous hockey star brother, Molly has never experienced love. Her mother left, Her brother’s wife left…. things happen in 3’s… She will not be the 3rd!!!

I really enjoyed the story it is so different from what I have read from T.K before but it was still good. T.K brought these characters to life through her words... I laughed quite a lot; it also played on my heartstrings in parts.

I did like the story, I love how molly grows more as the book went on and how she would stuck up for herself over certain things...

Writing Mr. Right is the perfect blend of snarky, angsty, and sexy romance. It’s laugh out loud funny, mixed with heartbreak and heartache, then topped off with HAWT and heart-warming scenes. Plans are made to be broken…but don’t break your plans to read this one!!!

I've gotta be honest here, a LOT of this book rubbed me wrong. The heroine was incredibly naive and immature for being thirty (NOT TWENTY NINE PLUS ONE - seriously!). The way the hero assumes she has the same feelings when she has only indicated she wants to get laid.

A lot was wrong for me.

But I enjoyed how she grew up. I enjoyed that she stuck up for herself and put out something she was proud of even if it had some nasty consequences.

So I am giving this story three stars.

Writing Mr. Right by T.K. Leigh a sublime five star read. This is a standalone romance with some comedy that will have you laughing out loud, but there is a darker side to the story that will keep you reading. I loved reading about a writer who faces battles we all do every day. It was real and honest and made me giggle like a loon.

5 shining beautiful loving stars to this amazingly written piece by T.K. Leigh.
One of the things I love the most about her writing is the fact that she can write EVERYTHING! After reading her latest thriller - Vanished - I wasn't sure she'd be able to write anything that perfect, but now, after reading Writing Mr. Right, I know this woman is getting better and better with every book she writes. Besides the fact that this book is HILARIOUS, it's also very touching. Molly is going through one hell

Oh. My. God. This book was utterly gorgeous, and I loved every, single page of it.

Written from first-person POV, this could've been a story that I disliked, but I absolutely fell head over hells for this book. For once, it wasn't the guy who was grovelling; it was the girl. The narrator. Molly. She was the one with all the major hang-ups, and fears, and questions, and she was the one with the concerns to resolve before she could be with her Mr. Right.

And it was wonderful. I loved that we were ab

“…real love isn’t real life.”

This was one of those books that caught my attention from the funky cover. I was in desperate need of a pick me up and this one looked like it could do the job, especially once I read the synopsis. For some reason, I am drawn to books about authors, maybe for that chance to glean info or maybe just because I find it fascinating. Anyhow, our heroine is a peddler of smut, and writers block is kicking her arse. Sometim

For an author, writer’s block is not only a bitch but can really screw with the way a book can come out, if you can’t get past it, can’t find some inspiration any way you can then the book just may not ever get finished. In Writing Mr. Right this is the case for Molly whose pen name is Vivienne Foxx. I always enjoy a good romantic comedy as long as it is done right. The banter and jokes must be good enou

T.K. quickly became one of my favorite authors. It's true that there doesn't seem to be anything she can't write.

You should be able to decipher by the spelling of "Writing" Mr. Right that Molly is an author. Like most, if not all, she writes under a pen name. If she didn't she would need one after the way she gathers her research. She has one trusted person who reviews her work before her publisher. Neither know what Molly has to go through to find her muses. She will have you bent over holding

I love this book!

T.K. Leigh can send chills down your back with her suspenseful tales but she has found a new gift in writing romances with a side of comedy. Writing Mr. Right is a funny heartfelt story of Molly and Noah. Molly is an author who has relationships with men to help her with her books. They serve as a muse and research for her current book, but after the book is finished so is the relationship. Now she is starting a book about a powerful CEO that is all alpha but she’s having a hard

Hilarious, Romantic, Touching and Memorable. Writing Mr. Right strikes up the humor as Molly goes through situations in her personal life that have you doubled over with laughter.

The book is incredibly memorable and has some touching moments that tug at your heart strings. T.K. Brings this book to life with relatable characters and one sassy blonde named Molly Brinks. I couldn't get enough.

In T.K. Leigh’s latest novel, “Writing Mr. Right,” Molly Brinks (aka Vivienne Foxx) is a romance author struggling to find her true voice. A cynic when it comes to love, her modus operandi is to derive inspiration from the various men she dates. But, increasingly, Molly finds that she lacks for true inspiration. Despite her editor’s deadline looming ever closer, she longs to write something other than the “short, sexy, sinful and seductive” stories that her publisher demands. And with her father ...more

I was so captured by the writing and the story I couldn't stop, except when I needed sleep for work. The characters are just wow, the bond they all have is a once in a life time bond. Snarky, witty with a touch of warmth and passion makes for a great romance in Writing Mr. Right by USA Today Bestselling author T.K. Leigh.
Molly Brinks is the hard working author putting her career first and leaving her love life to the pages of her books. Molly’s motto is “Real love isn’t Real life” so for her it’s hard to let love in. After reading most of the amazing books from T.K, I was exposed to another side in her writing in this book. I did not know I was going to connect so closely with the characters. I read the book on the way to Berlin for the conference I was invited to, and instead of concentrating on the lectures, all I wanted was to go up to the room to open the Kindle and read on. I finished the book before an amazing Coldplay performance, and when they sang the song "Fix You" I felt Molly and Noah's journey. ...more

I wanted to like this book more than I did. Because there are some serious laugh-out-loud funny moments and swoony-heart-warming times that are really well-written. But then there are others that just made me want to hurl my Kindle at a wall, mainly because of the heroine, Molly.

Man, in the beginning, I really liked Molly. But as I got more into the story I found myself becoming more and more annoyed with her. She's not TSTL but gosh, she had all this drama/angst going on. And though she had one
