I am a Muslim and I find this book so toxically irrelevant!
I can rant about stuff but don't want to waste my energy for this book!

Let me start by saying that this book has nothing profoundly new. Similar works can be found in English literature and media. But for the context of the people of Bengali, it is probably a new thing.

It is basically a series of refutations to atheistic arguments against religion, structured like a story. Not many Muslims of Bengal are that well versed in science to answer the challenges of atheists, unfortunately. So this book serves a good purpose and is hopefully an initiation for further work

I believe that it is a must read book for everyone.Whether you are a Muslim or not,it doesn’t matter,to get knowledge, to understand religious philosophy, to get more clear concept on religious anyone must read it.
Another thing is that among various topic I found some topic which I like most such as why Allah is strict punisher as allah is known for his kindness. In that case the logic that writer has made I like it.
It doesn’t mean that I like every logic that he has made, some logic cannot satis

The idea of 'Faith' Vs 'Belief' is, I need proof to believe, I don't need proof (for myself or for anyone) for my faith. My Allah, my Islam is my Faith. I loved 'Paradoxical Sajid' though.

This book getting famous proves that we people love logics. Nicely narrated for social media. Narration should've been changed for book.

I read this book when it came out and now I'm re-reading the last chapter after reading 'The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution' by Richard Dawkins.

Some of the misinformation that I have noticed in that last chapter:

1. In the book Sajid says "Evolutionists say that one animal evolves to other gradually. They say, We, humans, came from chimpanzees by gradually evolving".
No! No 'evolutionist' says that we evolved from chimpanzees. Rather, they say humans and chimpanzees shared a co

An amazing book. The arguments are well backed up by proven facts and are able to convince anyone who thinks freely. It portrays the utter vulnerability of atheism to a little bit of logic and the logical fallacy that they usually use to support their arguments.

I did find some arguments a little incomplete, but nonetheless, it was enough to answer the question being discussed in the particular chapter.

Most atheists are driven by the writings or arguments of some other people, who, if investigate

I liked some of the arguments and some of them were not so standard. But ya I personally am very skeptical about Darwinism. Darwinism affected us more socially then scientifically ,that's what I think.
Overall I like this book. But I don't think this book can change peoples view about religion that much like those atheist characters in book who got silenced after hearing Sazid's arguments. But surely it's a good effort ,I appreciate Arif Azad's attempt.

Possibly one of the worst book I have ever read. Completely full of misinformation, claims without evidence, and strawmanning to the level that I started questioning whether the author really did that intentionally or that he really is this stupid. Highly recommended not to read if you know even the most basic physics because this book will then surely destroy your day.

"Pseudoscience (such as the stupid logic and science making books like প্যারাডক্সিক্যাল সাজিদ, UFO things, quranic/biblical/mythical/hindu science etc.) gets rid of you and cannibalize your commonsense usually because of your lack of understanding the difference between 'A View' and 'A Claim'. Before completing a large scale observation (or a view) it comes up with 'A Claim' that narrows down your rest of the observations and makes you more selective in your observation such a way that you canno ...more

I really liked how each of the prohibitions/rules of Islam is mentioned in this book backed by reference from Quran.
It felt good to read every explanations and I wish I could argue in a calm mind the way Sajid does, backed by every reference. It made me realize is all we need is to study and research the references to know properly about every regulations of Islam.

Wanted to know what all the hype is about. Alas, this book disappointed me on so many levels! The writing is subpar, the plot is childish; and the worst part is the way those flawed, so-called logics are presented in the books. How people can praise this book so much is beyond me and this is not sarcasm, I’m truly surprised. I’m not going to discuss the lack of proper citations or the validity of the presented info- there’s a lot of posts on that topic. My main point is how the book is written; ...more

I can talk about all the issues in this book. But I don’t have time or will to go into details. It’s a “poster boy” of books muslims might use as a tool against atheists. I have no interests in that flame war or preaching.

From a scientific perspective, it uses lot a cherry picked research studies and statements. Also, the presence of confirmation bias is strong in this. It skipped over evolution rather carefully - also the DNA explanation and evidence of a designer are very poor. That’s just a

You gotta learn to question before you can find the answer.
This book here does the same thing. Sajid here explains and argues with atheists who wants a logical explanation. Sajid here carefully, full logically, explains them.
The best thing about this book is that is really answers the question which somehow you also have thought at least once. If not, then the first side of every story urges you to question it. The way the author, using his fictional character, explains both logically and accor

while some logics are really really good but most of them are pretty lame and was pretty much one-sided. The book is purely biased and not explained from different angles. I don't get the hype about this book. If anyone knows science and the latest discoveries well then s/he can easily discover the misleading and totally false acclaims that were made in the book. And not no mention he was making the antagonists look like pure idiots and dumb to make the protagonist look good. I am giving two sta ...more

Being a believer, and specially in Bangladesh, this book reminded me and also validated the need for more Islamic scholars who can put logics in order. This is a book which will offer you some analogical hypothesis, but the failure of supplementing with logics and more detailed knowledge on specific topics caused serious injustice. Coming up with Cherrypicked concept or an event to justify is a common feature of atheist and agnostic. We believers need to be better than this.

I read it because my brother recommended to read it. He recommended me to read it because I told him I'm not strictly religious. So I read it. It was a quick read and it was a good effort that this Arif Azad put his thought together and turned it into a book. The first one or two chapters was ok but then he started to mess things up. He also had put quite a bit of misinformation at the end of this book, which made the book less professional.
I don't have the book right on my hand right now.

A hugely overrated piece of garbage. If you want your religion to be respected and not be thought of as intolerant, you shouldn't have a superiority complex while arguing with anyone. You shouldn't talk about stuff you clearly don't know enough about. And you sure as hell shouldn't demonize a particular group of people just because they disagree with your faith. Its idiotic, even childish
