Great book about a mysterious city. Written in the 1980's it is interesting to read about its known history at that time.
The book takes you through just about every street in the city with a description of every memorial building, their style of architecture and purported use.
This book is like a home made cake, beloved by those who grew up on the recipe, but probably a bit dry if you have just a passing interest.
Recommended for those with a love of ancient history or who have visited Petra and want to know more.
