قالت له أمه: "السعادة التي نشعر بها عندما نساعد الآخرين أكبر من أي متعة أخرى"؛ فقال كوكومبا بمرح: "إلا متعة اللعب". ردت أمه: "ربما تغير رأيك إذا جربت".−
أثناء لعبه مع صديقه الغوريلا جوجو، يتسبب كوكومبا الصغير فى قلب السلحفاة العجوز طوبى على ظهرها ويتركها دون التفات ليكمل لعبه مع صديقه. لكنه حين يعى الخطر الذى يمثله ذلك على السلحفاة فى نهاية يومه، يخطط مع صديقه الغوريلا وصديقته الجديدة العصفورة لإنقاذها من محنتها.

Affaf Tobbala (Arabic: عفاف طباله) is an Egyptian television documentary director and producer and an author, primarily of children's literature. Tobbala has been nominated for and received a number of literary awards in Egypt and abroad. Her 2006 book, Sika and Mokka, received the 2007 Suzan Mubarak Prize for Children's Literature and was included on the 2010 International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) List of Honor.
