An Official Publication of The Napoleon Hill Foundation "Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Are you satisfied with where you are and the direction you are going? If not, take control of your life and change whatever needs to be changed. You and only you have the power to do this. You can change your world." -Napoleon Hill Judith Williamson, Director of the Napoleon Hill World Learning Center has compiled a book that you can read, enjoy, and apply to help you accomplish what you desire in life. She has used her extensive knowledge of Napoleon Hill's writings with her experience as a professor on the principles of success to relate to the work of Hill to create a profound message for the reader. Read, study, and apply the messages on the principles that most appeal to you. But not neglect any of the principles because all are necessary if you desire to reach your maximum potential. Once you have completed the book, go back and read it again and take the suggestions and repeat them until they become a part of your being. The end result of your reading, study, and application will help you reach your desires. But, most importantly, the ultimate result will be not what you received in the process but the person you become while on your journey to success.
Oliver Napoleon Hill was an American self-help author and conman. He is best known for his book Think and Grow Rich (1937), which is among the best-selling self-help books of all time. Hill's works insisted that fervid expectations are essential to improving one's life. Most of his books were promoted as expounding principles to achieve "success". Hill is a controversial figure. Accused of fraud, modern historians also doubt many of his claims, such as that he met Andrew Carnegie and that he was an attorney.
I feel like there is value in the book over all for sure. it does have a lean towards religion in that it included prayers and thankfulness to god, etc which I personally just skimmed over. I can see how doing the things in the book could lead to a lot of growth but this like weird obsession with napoleon hill being the guy with all the answers and this all knowing being is not my kinda thing. the info is good, and different things within got me thinking about self betterment and positive changes as a whole, but you gotta be able to get past the cringe
I have enjoyed reading Napoleon Hills books in the past, this one was especially interesting with 52 Life lessons that can be read each week and contemplate or you can read it straight through. Some of it seemed like plugs for Hill’s other books. Otherwise it was filled with some great quotes and lessons. Worth a read.
Read the sample of it and it was very good. However for the price of it at the moment I feel it's too expensive and I'll finish reading it within a few hours. Once the price has come down and I can read the full version I'm sure the rating will improve
This was a great book filled to the brim with short chapters on success and maintaining a positive mental attitude. The short chapters make this a perfect book for a daily devotional!
