Justice’s and Liza/Beth’s journey had drama, conflicts and struggles.
Both characters had to make hard decisions and compromises, while each one of them was trying to reach his/her dream.

Justice had obligations towards his band and couldn’t step out of them, but at the same time he wanted to be there for Liza/Beth, who had stayed back at home.
I will not go into details of what happened, but I am definitely the minority here.
There were times that Liza frustrated me. Since she h

So. Yes. I cried. Then had to go eat a pint of chocolate chip hazelnut gelato. Lordy. Savaged Vows put me through the ringer right along with Justice and Beth. Whew! So first off. I VA for Jennifer. She didn't ask me to read or review Savaged Vows. I just did on my own because I wanted to see how the trilogy would go.

The first book was really good. Part 2 does not disappoint. I was either stressing, mad or teary eyed for most of this book. We pick up right after the dramatic cliffhanger in part one. The drama does not let up. We go through another ride on the emotional roller coaster with Justice and Liza(Beth). Adding to the drama from the last book, we now have to deal with a unplanned pregnancy, a secret marriage and more family/band issues. Betrayals are revealed and love a

So loving this series. Justice and Liza's characters are really developing. They are facing some really big issues too.

After being attacked and the guys loosing the contest, Liza has moved in with Justice. Things are going fairly well.

Liza is working as an intern for Sloane and doing quiet well. After she graduates, he gives her a full time position as his assistant. Things look good. Liza is also the only person who seems to be able to connect with Noah (Justice's dad). He actually calls on he

This was an awesome book. Very well written. It was also a hard story to read because it was so very well written and it was making me feel all the emotions. I finished it days ago and I still find myself thinking about it when I least expect it. I can't wait for the next book so I can find out if Beth and Justice get their happily ever after. (Knowing Ms. Lyon, I know they will, but how much more will they have to go through to get there?) I have a feeling I'm going to need a huge box of tissue ...more

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

Another heart-stopping romantic suspense with more twists, unexpected turns and a thrilling ride that leaves me breathless! Savaged Vows takes us on another up and down ride about marriage, success and the secrets that can tear it all apart. Damn is it GOOD!

I never thought I would care for cliffhangers but these ones from Miss Jennifer Lyon I find myself on the edge, eager for the next book to find out what happens next. Its full of unexpected surprises, good an
Michel Reinhard (Saucy Southern Readers)

The Savaged Illusions Trilogy by Jennifer Lyon has become my favorite rock star romance series!  This is not the typical rock star romance with a brooding rock star and sweet ordinary girl but rather a complex collection of different romance genres blended together in perfect harmony to make a thrilling, emotional story that will hold the readers captive.

Savaged Dreams - book one ended on a huge cliffhanger.  I had no idea where the aftermath of that cliffhanger would lead.  I can honestly say i

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre:  Romance

I loved Savaged Dreams, the first part of this trilogy, and have been waiting for this installment. Luckily its not been too long so that was still fresh in my mind, and the final part is out this autumn.
I hate waiting long periods between parts in duets/trilogies, I've lost the impetus often, especial when its a year or more....I know I'm not alone in that so a huge thank you to Jennif

Heat, humor and heartbreak

Book 2 in the Savaged Illusions Trilogy, you need to read book 1 first as this book picks up a few days after the end of that book, with the characters dealing with the aftermath of those events.

What can I say about Justice other than he's a combination of protective (I loved how fierce he was going to bat for his father at the beginning!) and supportive, the kind of man you--or at least I--want in real life, not an arrogant a-hole who's hot on paper but impossible

Jennifer Lyon wasn't afraid to take on some very real issues in the first of her Savaged Illusions series, Savaged Dreams. Her themes are dark, but important to address.

Savaged Vows picks up right where we left the story in Savaged Dreams. Lyon isn't afraid to not only take on issues like PTSD, cutting, victim blaming and others, in this series but she gives them a very human face. Her characters are real and damaged, but not broken. That's a key component of this story. Both Justice and Liza ar

I did receive this book in exchange for an honest review.

OMG! This second book in the series just keeps getting better and better. I love that I am to keep seeing Liza and Justice grow as a couple. I will admit this book did make me cry. I cannot wait for the third book. Wonderful job to Jennifer Lyon for writing a beautiful book.

While my overall feelings about this book are positive, there are a few mixed feelings. Time moved very quickly, though it's pretty easy to follow. It's just a little strange to jump several weeks at a time so often. Perhaps my biggest complaint is that the writing is on the wall regarding two very important things. I can't really divulge which things without giving away spoilers, but that was a little disappointing when Liza nor Justice seemed to have a clue.

That being said, while Liza and Jus

Jennifer Lyon's contemporaries are huge emotion books. This series, like The Proposition, is a serial. It ends on a cliff-hanger and we won't get their HEA until the next book when she concludes this adventure in Liza and Justice's love story.

For me this was a very hard book to read. It's because of my personal hot buttons and current stresses in my life. This is the middle of the series filled with conflict. Which is to be expected in the middle of any story. I trust Jennifer to get us through

Jennifer Lyon does it again with this second book in this trilogy! This was such an amazing book with so much emotion. The tone of this book was so different from the first one and I loved it. You really get to feel the distance, the sadness, the hatred, the anger and so much more in this book. I can't wait to finish this trilogy...since this book ripped my heart out and put it in a blender. ...more
