For over 40 years Mrs. Patterson has focused on teaching women what God has to say to them. This devotional does just that. Using the books of Psalms and Proverbs Mrs. Patterson and Rhonda take us through a year of these two books. This devotional features relevant discussions for the woman today, focusing on the challenges one might find day to day. Every day women are searching for wisdom and answers that are way beyond themselves, what better books than Psalms and Proverbs hold the wisdom an ...more

The Psalms and Proverbs Devotional for Women by Rhonda Kelley and Dorothy Patterson is an excellent little devotional book. It's small enough that you can take it with you while traveling. The book is beautifully designed and features a ribbon bookmark so you can hold your place. It has 366 days of devotions, and each devotion includes Bible reading, commentary, a prayer, and a journal entry where you can write your reflections on the reading.

Rhonda and Dorothy are the editors of the book and ha

This devotional book is a compilation of devotions by a number of women based only on Psalms and Proverbs. The imitation-leather cover is beautiful, though mine did feel a bit slippery to hold. Perhaps that will change with use. Scripture is from a few different Bible versions (NKJV, ESV, NIV, CSB, NASB, and HCSB).

As with most devotional books, this would make a nice addition to a daily Bible-reading play, as the devotions are short, taking no more than a few minutes to read. The readings are nu

`The Psalms and Proverbs: Devotional for Women` is edited by authors Rhonda Harrington Kelley and Dorothy Kelley Patterson. I love the feel of the imitation leather and the handcrafted design and lettering on the front. Scripture is used from the New King James Version (NKJV), the New International Version (NIV), English Standard Version (ESV), New American Standard Bible (NASB), Christian Standard Bible (CSB), and the Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB).

This would make a great Christmas gi

Of all the books in the Bible, I probably spend the most time reading Psalms and Proverbs. That’s why I chose to review this book, and it’s a beauty.

The readings are undated, so you can begin this book any time of year. The first 205 readings feature the Psalms, and the remainder focus on Proverbs. Dozens of women contributed to the devotional writing. I like the fact that each writer takes a turn for several devotions in a row, which provides a feeling of consistency.

Most of the women writers a
