This is an action packed fly by your pants story. Max is on the payroll of the mafia. He is what we call an enforcer. He collects the debts with broken bruises and broken bones. When his boss sends him on the next mission, he is hesitant. It's a young young woman who has been conned by her ex. Dawn is unaware that her ex has left her with a large debit. When Max makes a deal with his boss, they begin a wild and crazy hunt for her ex. There is plenty of violence and sex. The story keeps you reading from page to page. Max is really a nice guy under all that brute force. He goes out of his way to help Dawn. During all the excitement they manage to find time to fall in love. I think with Dawn it starts off as a by product of the adrenaline rush from the danger. As she gets to know Max. she sees that he has good in him.

OOOOO, I love mafia stories, especially the bad boys associated with them & this one is definitely not a letdown ;)
Max, who used to be a box, is now a cleaner/enforcer for New York's city's biggest mafia, with Saul as the crime lord. He's job consists of taking care of people who didn't pay back on their loans. It was all in a days work for Max, until he got the job to collect from Dawn. Dawn wanted to own her own business & was a talented fashion designer, who's now in this mess because her ex, who's a gambler, used her name & forged her signature to obtain a loan from Saul. Now he disappeared & Saul wants the money from her. I really enjoyed this book, it contains a bit of everything.

Dirty Debt by Teagan Kade is a great bad boy mafia romance story that you can't stop reading until you reach the end. A well-written read of suspense, violence, twists and turns, a bit of humor, hot sex scenes, which all leads to love and a HEA.

Dirty Debt by Teagan Kade is a Bad Boy Romance.
Max works as an enforcer for Saul, New York's biggest crime lord. Max doesn't enjoy his job, but there isn't a whole lot out there for an ex-boxer and ex-con. To Max, what he does is just business, pure and simple. Until Saul hands him his latest assignment, Dawn. Dawn's ex-boyfriend Rick took out a $50,000 loan from the mob in her name, then skipped town 6 weeks ago. Now Dawn's on the hook for the loan. She just doesn't know it yet. Until Max shows up outside her best friend Noel's dress shop, where Dawn works, to collect on the debt.
Dawn doesn't have any money to repay the debt, but Max just can't bring himself to hurt her. So he calls Saul to apprise him of the situation, and is told to bring Dawn in. Saul gives Dawn 2 options ... 1) pay off the loan or 2) "work" off the loan. Clothing optional. Max interrupts at this point and offers to track Rick down with Dawn's help to get the money back. Saul gives Max the go-ahead, but on the condition that the money's repaid in one week. Failure to do so will ensure that Max and Dawn are going to become acquainted with Viktor's fists, one of Saul's sinister goons.
Max and Dawn waste no time starting their search for Rick, and along the way, get into many misadventures, ranging from grand theft auto, gambling, underground fighting, betrayal to attempted murder, and last but not least, doing the horizontal Mambo. Over and over and over again. Dirty Debt is a riveting story that's full of nonstop action, heart-stopping suspense, and downright steamy scenes. Teagan Kade's skill at making the story and characters jump off the page really blew me away and I could not put this book down. It was heartwarming to see Dawn bring out Max's softer side as they got to know each other and their feelings got involved. The road to HEA may have been full of unexpected twists and turns but the journey was incredibly thrilling and entertaining, making this book a must read. I highly recommend this book.

OMG! What an awesome book! I absolutely love this book. It has just about everything I love in a good romance book. I just couldn't put this one down. The plus side, they never have a breakup or any kind of argument, there is a long distance relationship but I don't think that lasted long!
I loved how we are introduced to both character, doing what they do. When they both meet up together I could tell sparks we're going to fly. I just wasn't sure how long it was going take Max and Dawn to get there. It just so wonderful how Max goes to protect Dawn even before he know anything about her. They are off to find Dawn's ex-boyfriend Rick who took out a loan in Dawn's name. They have a hard time and get into trouble before they finally track down Dawn's ex Rick, but he doesn't have enough money. (If it was me I would have taken his bobtail Harley and sold it for the cash). It's only when they come back to NY that Dawn gets her lucky break. What a break she get setting her up for life.
In the epilogue we get to see how Dawn has made a name for herself with the help of Lucy, Saul's daughter. I was happy to see how far they both had come. I was hoping they would be married with another child on the way, but hopefully that will come soon.

I think this was my first by this author. I didn't hate it, but it also wasn't my favorite.
Dawn chose a real winner in her last ex- a guy who took out a loan with the bad guys in her name, without her knowledge. She doesn't even know until Max comes. He's the muscle behind the boss, and ex boxer, - the guy shakes you down to get the money. Except.... he can't shake her down. He has a soft spot for her, considering she didn't even know about the debt.
Does the boss care? No. But he does give Max and Dawn to find said ex.
Off to Vegas they go. There, the have to set up a deal with local crime boss, Bobby, in order to be able to even get near Richard (the ex). Bobby sends them on a wild goose chase- three items to be completed before they can even get to Richard. Shockingly, they complete all items. But reaching Richard isn't as easy as they think.
After the week is over, they have to go back in front of the boss.... but will they have enough to pay the debt?

This book was seriously so action packed. This couple had to go through so much crap together. This book had a more mafia feel with crime bosses in Vegas and New York after Max and Dawn. Hands down it had one of the hottest scenes ever, like panty melting, butt clenching, holy Molly give me some of that. I loved it.
Dawn is having to deal with her Ex taking a loan out in her name to Saul a mob boss in the big Apple, he sends out Max to shake her up and to pay back the debt. Max knows something ain't right and he can't hurt her so he steps up and helps her to find her Ex and get the money that is owed.
Max was a fantastic dark brooding fighter, he stepped in and saved Dawn's life countless times, and keep her safe. Dawn that chick had me cracking up like crazy. Holy big Penis Bat man. I couldn't get enough.

I received an ARC for Dirty Debt and voluntarily reviewed this book. Max Davis is a has-been boxer now under the employment as a collector for Saul Barnes, a dangerous Brooklyn loan shark/crime lord. Max's next mark is Dawn Haye, ex-girlfriend of loser/gambler Rick Collins, whom Saul was supposed to collect from...until he was discovered MIA. The only option left then was to squeeze the money out of Dawn instead. Max and Dawn have one week in which to chase down her ex and make good on the loan, all at their personal cost. But they were given this one-time shot, so they are going to take it, although they WILL have their work cut out for them, fighting mafia elements and their feelings for each other as well! Great read, complete with great characters and steamy scenes, all nicely wrapped up with two epilogues.

I voluntarily reviewed this ARC book. Max, an ex-con after tragic circumstances has lost his way. Believing he can only use his skills in the criminal underworld, he gave up his dreams of boxing to collect funds from those who do not pay his boss. Dawn is a young woman who lost her dreams to the wrong man, but even she did not know her ex signed her life away to the mob. It is lust on first sight when Max is sent after Dawn. Max doesn't know what hit him but he knows that he can't hurt Dawn and he will do everything in his power to protect her, but will it be enough. Fast read, action from the start.

They get themselves into mess after mess. Will Max save Dawn? Will they both survive? You must read this steamy, action packed story and find out how it works out for Max and Dawn!! Dirty Debt was a fantastic read! I loved Max and Dawn from the very beginning. Strong characters with an amazing story to tell. The author did a great job with this one, I loved every minute of it!
When Dawn becomes Max’s next target, both of their lives takes drastic turns. With both of their lives on the line they don’t plan on giving up without getting what Max’s boss, Saul, wants.
Dawn and Max have to go through h*ll but it is all worth it in the end.

A great example of how to write a Bad Boy/Mafia book.
The plot moves along at an almost breathless pace and includes all the vital elements, violence, betrayal, hot sex, and, finally, a satisfying denouement.
Max and Dawn are proof that opposites attract, and boy do the sparks fly!

Dirty Debt is a very good book! It has a romance that's hot and a very good mystery set in two towns, New York and Las Vegas! The author writes very well and you will get to know both towns and there various parts of the cities. The characters are much individuals and you will appreciate them and their romance. I would recommend to anyone that this well worth reading!

Action packed right from the start;murder, mayhem, kidnapping, mafia, underground fights, a serious road trip to Vegas, car theft, destruction, a bad boy with a good side, a strong independent feisty woman, plenty of twists and turns, intrigue and romance. Loved this book beginning to end, well worth your time to read. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Dawn's gambling ex skips town after taking a loan out in her name from a very shady man. Max is sent to collect the money from her, any way he can. Great read with well written characters and interesting story line. Enjoy!!

I absolutely love this book. The characters, story line, everything perfection. 2 different people from 2 different worlds meet at unfortunate times only to realize they are perfect for each other. I would definitely recommend this book. You will will love it.

This was a good story. There was drama, violence, quite a bit of action, falling in love, and lots of lust. Dawn and Max could hardly be more different, but they are very drawn to each other from the start. I love this author's writing!

Love Mafia stories. Max and Dawn are thrown together from circumstances outside their control. This story isn't as dark as some of the Mafia stories out there but still provides intrigue and interest. I quite enjoyed it.

I liked this story between Dawn and Max. Things seem somewhat doomed for them but unexpected things happen to change all that. Lots of danger and action. Editing was not great in a few spots, but it was a sweet love story.

This book went by quick as there was a lot of action happening. While the romance was rather instant, you don't really see that too much as so much is going on. You have to go with the flow, as there is no way it would all take place in real life, but it is a very good story line.

Love the humor banter between characters. Even though there was a real threat regarding her life and he wanted to right the wrong done in her name they had great chemistry. Nice quick read too

I love all of Teagan's books and this one did not disappoint. I only read HEA romances, but the twists and turns within the book are what make it exciting and keep me interested!

Love found along the way
