I enjoyed this book, though it isn't a cozy. A cat is killed and that's usually a deal-breaker for me, but Barrie's almost-humorous style of writing encouraged me to go on. Barrie is great at painting the setting of the little English neighborhood where the (human) murder takes place. The description of life from Theodore's (cat) point of view is fun and well done.
