I'll take Bob over Picasso any day! Although both may have gone through an artistic blue period, Bob has, in my opinion, the better pictures. the story itself is similar to other books about the importance of using all the colors of the rainbow. (The best of which is Arnold Lobel's 1969 the Great Blueness.)
