Everyone in town knows that Christmas in Twilight has a way of bringing lovers together . . . but will its magic bring this pair from “I won’t” to “I do”?

Wearing a too-tight “Santa Baby” costume held in by a double pair of Spanx, Paige MacGregor runs headlong into a gorgeous, grey-eyed hunk of a long, tall cowboy. And not just any cowboy, but country-western star Cash Colt

Cowboy, It’s Cold Outside is book eight in the Twilight, Texas series by Lori Wilde. First, I want to say that this is my very first book by Lori Wilde. So yes, you can totally read this as a stand alone. There are characters that I am sure have been the focus of previous books in the series but it didn’t detract at all from my enjoyment of this book. And, enjoy it I did. This is a beautifully written, sweet, lovely book. I highlighted so many quotes that I can’t decide which ones to give you. I ...more

Lori Wilde returns to Twilight, Texas in another Christmas romance for two very deserving individuals ready for love. Cash Colton has come to town to perform a charity concert after being away from music. He’s hoping that this will be a start of something to get his career back in gear after a year of lying low and hoping to get his creative juices flowing again. When he sees a cute Santa Helper his creativity goes into overdrive and he believes he’s found his inspiration! Unfortunately for him,

Christmas and cowboys? Well, maybe not an actual cowboy but a sexy country singer giving back? Um, yeah, yeah that'll work real nice, too.

Cowboy, It's Cold Outside left me smiling.

The Gist: Cash is a big country star and he's in Twilight for a friend's benefit concert. Should be a simple gig. Sing a little. Do a little good. Christmas it up a bit. Keep his mitts off one of Santa's Helpers. Yeah, that

This book seemed very wordy for what was otherwise a light fluff read. I think the purple prose got to me. I was crinkling my nose or scratching my head at things like:
His gaze was a lawn mower, sheared right over her. Scalped. Clipped.
So this one didn't work for me, though I did spend a good amount of time with the story before giving up. I was never invested in either of our main characters and I'm not feeling overly bad about walking away. DNF at 55%.

5 Stars toCowboy It's Cold Outside (Twilight Texas #8) by Lori Wilde.

I love Twilight, Texas! This town that Lori Wilde creates is warm, inviting and filled with loyal family and friends. Once again, we are back to celebrate another Christmas and another couple finding their happily-ever-after. One of the aspects of Lori's books that endear me to this welcoming town is the characters. From the first book, we are introduced to so many and each book welcomes more while gi

After enduring the worst year of his life Cash Colton is ready for a reboot, and he is hoping his little visit to Twilight Texas will be just what he needs...but he winds up finding far more than he bargained for when Paige waltzes into his world. There is something about the beauty in a Santa Baby costume that strikes a cord with him, and while he isn't so sure he wants to travel down the road that leads to love, he can't help but want to follow her to the ends of the earth. She is feisty, beau ...more

O My! O Dear! I am speechless! If winning a heart of a woman could make that much trouble and action than I better think of it. Well no hard feeling of course I am making a joke here. Anyway in one word it was – Breathtaking…

Who on the earth would know that this book turned out to be like this. Honestly I didn’t expect that either. So unexpected for me. Though it is my first read of Lori Wilde and that series. It’s the no. 8 book of Twilight, Texas. At first when choose to read it I thought wel

Cowboy It’s Cold Outside is the fourth Twilight Texas book I’ve read by author Lori Wilde centered around people falling in love at Christmas time in the small Texas town of Twilight. While each couple faces their own challenges in finding their H.E.A. the good people of Twilight full of kindness and Christmas cheer and good intentions remains consistent.
Paige McGregor is our hard luck heroine in this story. The author chose to make her Paige character a physical everywoman. When we meet her sh

I've read a couple of books from this series and really enjoyed them. This one really caught my eye, a country singer, Christmas and a small town- perfect!

Cash Colton is a famous country singer who has had a bit of a meltdown recently, his band broke up, his girlfriend dumped him for a bandmate and his song writing ability disappeared. So he took off and has spent nearly the last year in South America. He's in Twilight to help out his best friend, Emma, and her fundraising music show.

I haven’t really felt much in the Christmas-y spirit lately, so I thought that Lori Wilde’s Cowboy, It’s Cold Outside in red and gold with the wreath on the cover might be just what I needed. In a little disappointing turn of events I totally forgot, until this moment, that I’d thought the book was going to be holiday themed. Other than taking place during the Christmas season, there wasn’t much to

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the eighth book in the series, but I have to admit it is the first that I have read - something I plan on remedying soon. I am sure that I must have missed some of the nuance in other relationships and dynamics in Twilight, but there were little pointers which made everything clear enough.

I loved being in Twilight, and enjoyed both Cash and Paige. She was a wonderfully positive person, even though she was dealin

There is one word to describe Cowboy, it's Cold Outside. It's the word Cash Colton never used. Precious, precious, precious! Lori Wilde created two awe inspiring characters with Cash Colton and Paige MacGregor in this captivating book that I simply couldn't put down. I read it in 2 days and wish there were a real Twilight, Texas for me to visit! Paige and Cash's story is one of perfected chemistry that you can actually feel in your bones. Excellent holiday romance!

The characters in this book are very real, lovable and believable. The story development was great and, of course, the ending is perfect!

Cowboy, It’s Cold Outside is just the holiday romance I was hoping to read this season!

Cash is the kind of cowboy I can get behind (haha, behind pun intended!), with his tight faded jeans and cowboy boots.

“The guy was a uterus magnet who turned normal, rational women into blithering idiots.”

He’s trying to be anonymous, ditching his trademark beard and hat, but that doesn’t really work, even in the small town of Twilight. His life is a literal county song; one he couldn’t have written any better.

Cowboy, It’s Cold Outside was a cute holiday read that works well as a standalone despite being the eighth book in a series.

Wearing a too tight costume isn’t high up on Paige MacGregor’s list of things she’d like to be doing, but when you need a job you accept these things. One thing Paige doesn’t have to do though is listen to the cowboy trying to charm his way into the venue where she works early. So Paige does her job and throws the man out only to find out he’s a hot shot country western sta

Having read Cowboy, It's Cold Outside; I have found out that Lori Wilde's books just keep getting better and better! This book does not disappoint the reader; in fact, it inspires the reader! This story is about Paige MacGregor and Cash Colton. Cash is a famous country western star who has taken a break from singing and performing for the last year. Cowboy, It's Cold Outside is cute, heartwarming story set around the Christmas holiday. This story is filled with love, laughs, a few insecurities and cute dog that adds to the laughs. Paige is trying to rebuild her life after being the victim of a conman that took everything from her. She is determined to never fall for a pretty face again. Cash is a popular country-western singer who has also had a rotten string of events happen. His girlfriend left him for his bestfriend, his band broke up an ...more

Christmas just wouldn’t be complete without a trip back to Twilight, Texas and a chance to see who’ll fall prey to the magic of the Matchmaker Cookies. As always, Lori Wilde delivered a sweet and touching yet flirty romance full of down home charm and lovely sentiments.

Good read

He's famous and she's a Santa's helper during a season that he doesn't celebrate. He's lost his music making mojo until he meets her and he swears she is his muse. And then they fall in love. But will it last? Highly recommend

There is just nothing like a Lori Wilde Christmas story. I love all her books but her Christmas books just add that extra special feeling in your heart. Cowboy, It's Cold Outside is no exception. I was engrossed in this story from the first page all the way to end.

Paige MacGregor has not had an easy life lately. She is a strong independent lady that is trying her best to deal with life. She loves her grandmother and spends as much time with her that she can. Her Grandmother has health issues but

It's become a yearly tradition to read a novel in the Twilight, Texas series around the holidays.  While the other two I read where sort of interconnected, I wasn't really sure where this one fit in with the people of the town.  I could either blame that on my faulty memory or the fact that I haven't read quite a few of the earlier books in the series.  But this story came as a nice surprise for me.

The heroine, Paige, is struggling to make ends meet after the last man she thought herself in lov

Lori Wilde >>>> Twilight, TX + Christmas = MAGIC

I knew before I even got started how wonderful this book was going to be, and I was blissfully right!

Paige MacGregor returns home to Twilight for a new start after a conman scams her out of her money and steals her identity. The last thing in the world she wants to do right now is hook up with some cocky, self-absorbed male. But meeting Cash Coulton makes it very hard to remember that.

Cash is in Twilight to perform a charity concert, af

Lori Wilde can’t remember a time when she didn’t want to write. She even went to nursing school so she could have a schedule flexible enough to allow her to write on the side. She nursed for 20 years, working in a variety of settings from the newborn nursery to the recovery room, to dialysis. But she never lost her desire to write.

She sold her first book in 1994 to Silhouette Romance but later dis
