Julian Dane thought he'd hit rock bottom — until he met a woman (isn't that what they all say?). He used her and broke her heart. Now he wants to turn things around but the damage he dealt stands in his way.

Kendall Parker's unique issues have made it hard to live a normal life. Very few people understand her and she trusts even less … but she believ

If you have been following the Billionaire Bad Boys series, you will love Julian's and Kendall's story, Going in Deep. You can also read this book as a stand alone. Either way this book is emotionally good! I wasn't to thrilled to hear about Julian's wrong doings in the past and how he had used Kendall before. But behind his diabolical plan, he had fell hopelessly head over heals for the girl. Present time he has gotten himself help. He tries to heal everyday. But there is one person that he jus ...more

I gotta be honest. I've been interested in finding out more about Julian and Kendall ever since I met them briefly in Going Down Hard. Sorry to say I haven't had a chance to go back to the beginning of the series so I knew very little about them going in. But I knew Julian used to be an addict and that Kendall struggled with her own bipolar issues and what wasn't there to want to learn more about? No worries though because despite my ignorance, the author truly wrot

This book had me in tears right at the beginning. A lot of that stems from my dog rescue work and I could totally relate to Kendall's work environment and falling in love with the dogs :) Julian and Kendall were such great characters and so easy to fall in love with. Julian is truly sorry for what he had put Kendall through in the past and will do anything for a second chance. When he realizes that he loves Kendall, he will even walk away if that's what she needs him to do.

Kendall never forgot

descriptionNot really a huge fan of this cover. I like the graphic work, and the couple is a good representation of the couple featured. The author's name across the top and over the couple's heads is distracting though and throws off the composition. I think the "GOING IN" would have looked better lined up with the "DEEP" (slightly overlapping it) then placing the author's name under that. That would have improved the overall look of it.description

descriptionI enjoyed this one a lot. Previous to this one I had only read GOING

We're back in NYC! And this time it's not the story of one of our three darling billionaires. Nope, this is the story of the guy we hated all through those three previous books!!! Julian!
The guy who blackmailed the guys. Who used Lexie's twin to get what he wanted!
And now ... now he's back. And he wants Kendall again!
Well, he wants her, but first he wants her to know that he's a changed man. He's been sober for a long while. He's going to AA, started his own security company, keeps his nose and

WOW!! This second chance romance certainly packs an emotional punch. Going in Deep is definitely an apt title.

I was very interested to see how Kendall and Julian's story would play out after the last book. I knew it would be a great story. I had no idea the story would be so emotional and raw, but boy am I grateful. It was a fantastic read.

There's a bit of something for everyone. This book is emotional, angsty, has family drama, steamy sex, and lots of puppy love. See what I mean? Something for

I haven't read any of the other books in this series, so I went in kind of blind. Thankfully I could follow the storyline just fine, so this can be read as a stand-alone. Going in blind also meant I didn't have any feelings about the MC's before starting this book. So even though I know, from the reviews I have read about the other books, that Julian was an ass in the past....for me, he started with a clean slate :P

Before I begin my review I just want to say that Going In Deep can be read as a standalone, but the characters Julian and Kendall have all been introduced in the previous books of the series and we were given a bit of insight on them. Julian was the villain and Kendall was the woman that he hurt hence why Going In Deep is more of a second chance redemption love story between these two.

The beauty of this book is the intensity of the relatio

No no no no no! This was not supposed to happen!

I am supposed to hate Julian after what he did, right? I wasn't supposed to feel for him, hurt for him, fall for him,was I?

Because that is what happened. Ms Phillips has certainly turned my opinion about the guy right right around. Right from the get go, I could feel that he and Kendall still had something special, that both had changed, that they really were perfect for each other.

But boy the emotion - mostly not c
I just absolutely LOVE a story where the bad boy changes his ways for the girl he lost. The HIGHLY ANTICIPATED second-chance love story between Julian and Kendall was INCREDIBLE! Ever since I found out that Carly was giving these two characters their own story, I've been so freaking excited! And then when it showed up on my Kindle, I was OVER THE MOON and OH SO READY to get started. I knew it would be emotional. I knew it would be sexy. I knew it would be beautiful. FANTASTIC, once again!

Julian Day is an asshole with no redeeming qualities .... or so you should think. Yeah, but no. WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! Seriously, you can't like him. Like it's a code breaker of some sort. But you do and you will. And that was some fantastic word wizardry by Carly Phillips! That man did an about-face and never looked back and it was beautiful.

5 amazing stars

Of all the novels in Carly Phillips' Billionaire Bad Boy series, i have to say that Going In Deep is one of my favorites. Why? Because there is a history that isn't pretty. It was a heart wrenching one that made you really think of what's important in your life. It makes you realize that one part of your life doesn't define who you will become and who you actually are. After having met both Julian and Kendall in the previous book, Goi

I really, really, really love this series. In all honesty I am not sure there is a book that she has published or will publish that I will not fall in love with. Now, I am not going to lie. I was a little nervous reading about Julian because honestly after meeting him in book one, I was so not a fan. But true to Ms. Phillips' form, she makes you fall in love with him and find yourself rooting for him to get his happy ever after. I was hooked from page one. Title: Going In Deep (Billionaire Bad Boys, #4)
Author: Carly Phillips
Genre: Contemporary Second Chance Romance
Rating: 4/5

This was my first time reading a Carly Phillips book and even though it's the fourth book in the Billionaire Bad Boys series it's been written in a way that it can be read as a standalone.

Going In Deep is a story of redemption and second chances that follows Julian and Kendall who are two people that share a painful past and end

The best book in the series!!

"He’d had to hit his own rock bottom before he could rebuild himself. Just as Kendall had."

Kendall and Julian are amazing characters. They are both damaged, broken and perfectly imperfect but they both deserve a second chance in life, in love. I was constantly on edge reading this book and felt so many emotions- I cried , was heartbroken and I felt hope. Life however is not that simple and both Kendall and Julian are aware of that.

I love their story, so endearing

I've been hoping we would get a book on Julian and Kendall, and this didn't disappoint! Seeing how hard they had to work to get where they are today, and the strength each of them show, had me in tears throughout the book. Kendall taking a stand, and finally finding herself, was awesome to read about. Julian did a great job of redeeming himself, and quickly made his way to the top of my favorite Carly Phillips hero list. A well written book that will keep you drawn in from the beginning, and fal ...more

It's not possible to review this book without spoiling the first one in the series, so apologies in advance. Yes, this can be read as a standalone second-chance romance, but really, it is a redemption story.

Julian was not all that nice when we met him. In fact, he is the villain in Kade and Lexie's story, and he uses (quite callously) Kendall, who happens to be Lexie's sister.

Usually, you don't see the misdeeds of the reformed bad boy, they are us

Going in Deep is the 4th book in the Billionaire Bad Boys Series. It can easily be a stand alone. In fact I read this one first and loved the characters so much that I'm going back and reading the rest of the series. I also think that if you do read them in order it will give you better dynamics of the characters.

Julian Dane's life spiraled out of control after he became addicted to drugs. During that time period he used Kendall Parker to get to her brother-in-law, Kade, who is married to her tw

What an amazing story of second chances at love and life. This truly was a story about forgiveness and redemption.

Going In Deep is the final book in Carly Phillips Billionaire Bad Boy series and I thought it ended this amazing series perfectly.

I have to be honest when I say I was really looking forward to reading Julian and Kendall's story, even when they were the villains of the series. I was so hoping Carly

This is the fourth book in the series - and I really would recommend that you read them in order, as there is an underlying plot and each book introduces us to a new couple, who then appear in future stories.

This is not an easy read, there are a lot of issues which have been dragging both these people down - let alone what happened in the past. Ms Phillips does a good job of making us question everything on Kendall's be

We finally get Julian and Kendall's story. Going in Deep blew me away! This book was everything I expected and so much more.

Julian Dane and Kendall Parker have hurt others by the decisions they made in the past. Both of them took those bad times to reevaluate themselves, and took appropriate measures to get help to better themselves. Julian is an addict who's in recovery, and goes to AA meetings on a regular basis, and is a Freelance Cyber Security Expert. Kendall is bipolar, she's on the right

Incredible story in so many ways!! In the earlier books, we met Julian Dane, the millionaire bad boy gone bad. He had some very questionable actions, and wasn’t a character you liked. Kendall, bless her heart, was just a mess. Between her own Bi Polar illness, her mother’s depression and her father’s overcompensation, it’s no wonder she ended up that way. But they always say that Love Conquers All and these two proved that to be true.

I enjoyed catching up with the earlier characters, following a

Some authors can not make a character redeemable but let me say Carly Phillips sure can. I didn’t think Julian Dane would ever be likable but I stand corrected. Julian realizes he used Kendall to get even with Kade. He get’s himself cleaned up from Drugs and using AA to keep clean.

When he and Kendall meet for the first time it did not go well not at all like Julian wanted. He keeps going and when they meet again he explains all the reasons why he acted the way he did and took responsibility for

Julian was not my favorite character in the previous books, but I think that in this book, he has redeemed himself. I wondered how Julian was going to be redeemed. For so long, the only glimpses of Julian left a bad taste in my mouth. He was a junkie, a former friend who seemed to care little for his friends, only wanting the money that was "owed" him. He was the token bad guy used to further the stories of his friends toward their own happy endings.

The brief arc of him and Kendall and his subsequent appearances of wanting to talk to Ken

Wonderful tale of love and redemption
This is a short second chance story that I enjoyed reading. I liked the main characters Julian and Kendall and their strength, determination, and commitment to get better, be happier, and lead more meaningful and fulfilling lives. Their situations were realistic and believable, and although the story touched on some heavy issues like bipolar disorder, depression, addiction, and death, the romance and positive changes in the couple more than offset all of tho
