What a epic read!!! I love Abe's drakon's such beautiful deadly creature's!!! I have been hooked on her mythical dragon's since picking up The Smoke thief and have read all the drakon books.when she started The Sweetest dark series I didn't know if I was gonna enjoy it because of it being a young adult spin off,but I should have known that it wouldn't matter Abe is one hell of a storyteller and these new young dragons were as beautiful, cunning and deadly as the rest of their race. Fiercest joy ...more

Update 8/26/17: HOW DID I MISS THE RELEASE OF THIS?! Just ordered on Amazon! AHH!!!

Update 9/13/16: A title?! A cover!! Yess!!! C'mon synopsis and date! The GIF below still stands!

Yay! There's gonna be a third one!!

So, sometime ago I wrote to Shana Abe on Facebook and considering that she hadn't really active online in the recent past, I wasn't very optimistic about getting a reply. But the most awesome thing happened, she did reply and said categorically that there will be a third book in the Sweetest Dark series. So that was a huge relief but there still might be some waiting before we get it.. So happy she replies :D

When will there be updates? There isn't even a definitive release date yet, only

Recommends it for: Teens and up. Lovers of fantasy, romance, dragons, love triangles

Loved it!!! The conclusion to this amazing series was fantastic. I loved everything about it. It had so much going on that it was impossible to get bored. It made me laugh, cry, and cry some more. It answered all of questions I had formed from the first two books, and ended on a very satisfying note. While I think this ended perfectly, I will still be sad to see it end. The entire truly was hidden gem and I don't understand why more people haven't read this series.

The third book in the spinoff trilogy from Shana Abe's Drakon series that I love. Taking place during WWII in Britain, the world of the Drakon appears to be gone and yet there are three young people who have found out they were not what they thought they were. One is Eleanor who is an orphan who attends an exclusive private school as a charity student and the other two are brothers, the sons of the Duke who supports the school. Since this is the third book, I am not going to go into the story ...more

FINALLY. FINALLY, after YEARS waiting for the conclusion of the spectacular Drakon series, finally I have answers. This was a great conclusion to the series, it wrapped up everything perfectly and answered so many questions I had. The only issues I had are minor; a love triangle in Sweetest Dark, betwee Lora, Jesse and Armand, made sense, and in the Deepest Night, you could sense the love and trust building up between Armand and Lora, and I was so excited for this book to build on their love, a ...more
It's been close to 4 years since the previous book of the Sweetest Dark Series was released in 2013, and I had a feeling where the book was going. Being a fan of Ms. Abe's works I kept reading and re-reading her series whenever I was in a book stump and nothing would hold my interest. And I was surprised to find that every single time I re-read the books I always found something new I hadn't paid much attention to. This goes the same for Time Weaver, it ties things up with her adult Drakon ...more

I have waited four fucking YEARS for this conclusion!!! FOUR YEARS!

In that time I read literally ever Drakon book I could get my hands on - even the ones that weren't even all that great or the kind of book I'm into!

Welp, now I fuckin' know.

I also know what happened to a lot of Drakons from the other books, and that's cool too.

I literally can't even review this shit because I am so

Maybe it's because I just finished Shana Abe's original Drakon adult series, which I've just realized are far superior to this spin off series no matter how much I've enjoyed following Lora's story, but this book turned out to be my least favorite book not only in her backlist, but in the Lora trilogy as a whole.

I think this series really peaked in book two. The first book in this series was focused on Lora discovering her powers and um... Jesse, who was boring as toast. I always have a soft

A tender conclusion to a beautiful series.

After such a long wait for the release of THE FIERCEST JOY, I took my time and reread through the previous two books before diving in to read straight through to the early morning hours. Its a strong personal belief that coffee was founded for just such causes as a good book immersion morning-after medication. Shana Abe has this beautiful ability to form a connection with her readers to the beauty, truth, and whit of her characters. The true

What a wonderful book

There are only two bad things I have to say about this book. 1 it took too long for it to come out. I'd just about forgot the story. 2 There are like three points I thought the book was over. Although, I liked them all. If you have read the others the you definitely need to read this book. If you've not read this series then please do yourself the right thing and start at the beginning. And of you haven't read any of the Dragon books, it wouldn't hurt to start at the very

I feel like this book had a lot of potential to have a really great dragon fighting scene. But it sort of plummeted, a lot like the parts about Lora's family. That basically disappears, and you never find out what happened to the girl at the end. Is she alive or did she weave some time into history? The ending wasn't the greatest but I'm glad it had that turn around otherwise I would have been mad. I also didn't like how Aubrey settled everything at the end. Seems a boring way out----back to the ...more

I waited SO LONG for this book. FINALLY.

Honestly I wasn't expecting this last book to be so sad?? I cried ALOT.

I'm glad we got a HEA but like I still felt sad haha. If you read it you'll know what I mean.

Lastly, Armand is perfect. And I think The Deepest Night will always be my fave in the series.

Unfortunately, I didn't find this ending to be very satisfying. The first two-thirds were wonderful, and I couldn't put it down. But the new elements were introduced too close to the end, making all of the resolutions that had to occur feel rushed and a tad confusing.
Great third book in the series. Hopefully, the series will continue, but if not this was a good ending. Recommend this series for older teens.

Amazing and totally worth the wait
Enjoyable, but I hated that it ended.
I have cried oceans of tears whilst reading this book. My heart is broken yet full at once. Love knows no sacrifice nor time. It is eternal, all-powerful and lives forever.

I loved the Drakon series so much that I decided to read the young adult spinoff. Or is the Drakon series the spinoff? Well, whatever. This series did NOT disappoint.

Now, firstly I was thrilled with the ending had Armand and Lora together. It fit with the way the series progressed. I HATE when book series screw up the main love story. Armand has loved Lora throughout all three books.

I still want to know more about the stars, though. Still, a great series if you're into young adult,

I read this in under two days. I loved the conclusion to this series, and not just this latest three part release, but the entire Drakon series. I believe I will always want more from Shana Abe for this series, as she has done a magnificent job of tracking and intertwining her characters.
Satisfying ending for the most part, although I wish I knew more about what happened with Aubrey. His character got a little shafted, I think, both in terms of development and in the actual plot. I still think the second book is my favorite.

It was an enjoyable conclusion. It's been awhile since I've read this book, so I don't remember if it's a clean read.

Joy! Fantastic ♡

Finally got to read the last one of this series. In love with the book from the first page to the end. I couldn't possibly explain with words the marvelous time i had reading about Lora, jesse, Armand and Audrey. Love, fantasy and drakons. Love it!
