This book dives into projects to improve your household. Simple methods to spruce up bathrooms, furniture and other household items. Many of these projects described are beginner level Do-It-Yourself (DIY). The author has aggregated many of these stories from her radio talkshow. The illustrations and step by step guide makes this book easy to follow. This book focuses on repairs and fixes, not new construction. I attempted a couple projects in this book and had reasonable success. I am also adding a few of these projects to my todo list for my household.

A random sampling of projects and fixes. For being a "beginner" type book it presupposes a lot of vocabulary.
