This was a really cool book that is geared toward germs and where they come from and different places to find them. It is part of the "Bill Nye" series and was a really fun visual book. This book is definitely appropriate for elementary school students because of the level of vocabulary and the basic information it provides. This would be a fun book for a teacher to read aloud in science class because there are activities and various graphics that go along with the information.
This was an excellent book about microbes. Explanations were clear and in small chunks. Each one to two page topic was followed by a clear and simple experiment using common household objects. Easy to understand and fun to do experiments made this an excellent tool in our homeschool unit on germs.
This guy is awesome!! When it comes to presenting material in a way that kids enjoy, he is one of the best. As a student I remember how much I enjoyed Bill Nye and it seems to still be that way with students today. This particular subject was especially beneficial in my classroom when teaching the students the importance of keeping our bodies clean.
