The Battle Against Yourself is a gripping real-life story from Greg J. Vogt. In Vogt’s debut novel, a memoir, he takes us from despair to hope, from sadness to happiness. He tells us of his battle with depression and attempts at suicide. It started in high school; with what many might overlook as typical teen angst. Greg Vogt is a first-time author of the memoir, "The Battle Against Yourself." At the age of 23, Greg released this book just two months before graduating from college. Greg earned degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship at The University of Arizona.

This story depicts the darkness Greg faced growing up dealing with depression and suicide. It displays his journey from rock bottom to learning how
