This was a sweet little book I got at Fort Menendez. This book is meant for kids. I plan on having my son read it in a couple of years because he is growing up in Saint Augustine. It is full of Saint Augustine history and places we have already been. It even is rich with the wild life here. Really great read for a kid.

4 stars for a heavy dose of nostalgia from this man who grew up visiting family in Florida multiple times a year. The story is simple and fun, the writing itself could use some additional proofreading and editing, but I was reliving parts of my childhood as I hummed along like that ole mule from the story.

The author captured a beautiful stroll down memory lane for everyone that has fallen in love with the historic city of St. Augustine, Florida. It brings to mind all of my own special memories of the town. Randy Cribbs' imagery beckons every history fan to discover their own love of St. Augustine.

Wonderful little story, especially if you are a resident of St. Augustine or surrounding. Geared toward the younger audience, but enjoyable for all ages.
