About the author

Erwin W. Lutzer is senior pastor of The Moody Church in Chicago. A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and Loyola University, he is the author of numerous books, including the Gold Medallion Award winner "Hitler's Cross" and the best seller "One Minute After You Die". He is also a teacher on radio programs heard on more than 700 stations throughout the United States and the world, including "Songs in the Night," "The Moody Church Hour," and the daily feature "Running to Win." He and his wife, Rebecca, live in the Chicago area and have three married children and seven grandchildren.

Aunque ésta fue una lectura más obligada que por voluntad, creo que vale la pena destacar el esfuerzo del autor por exponer de una manera muy dinámica la vida de Moisés. No comparto algunas de las interpretaciones que hace sobre la vida de este personaje bíblico, por que tiende a perder el contexto más amplio del mensaje de la Biblia, pero valoro especialmente la reflexión que nos deja en el capítulo diez.

Un libro que a través de trece lecciones desafiantes, nos muestra como Dios nos enseña a mantener y alimentar una comunión con Él.
Las lecciones mas grandes que Dios nos puede dar son cuando estamos pasando por el desierto... Dios se deleita en formar siervos, no faraones... y un sin fin de aprendizajes que nos harán crecer como personas y nos ayudarán a construir una vida plena.
