Provides a clear understanding of the legislative development of the 1982 Nuclear Waste Policy Act and its subsequent revisions. The authors concisely lay out the political wrangling within the Congress and the judicial mechanizations that ultimately led to the political impasse in dealing with the disposal of high level nuclear waste at Yucca Mt.
