really interesting if you want to know about more criminals that are not that talked. it has a lot of different kinds of crimes which is also interesting. I'd like to have more information about each ones and I kinda don't care about the mafia ahah but I understand that to cover all the people they did, it had to be short

I was going to say this would be a great starter book for mini-murderinos, but there are some pretty graphic details about rape, so I don't know. Great starter book for new but adult murderinos?

Some of the language felt kind of passe regarding race and sexuality, and especially sex work. It felt very tabloid headline-y.

Like I said, a good starter, but how could they leave out some of the best details? Like Richard Ramirez being chased by a whole neighbourhood, or Ed Kemper doing audio books.

The World's Worst Criminals: An A-Z of Evil Men and Women by Charlotte Greig is a book taking us on an adventure around the world discussing some of the evilest cases ever committed. This book is full of rapes, murders, bank robberies and criminal gangs and really touches on what makes someone become a criminal and commit a crime, let alone some of the worst crimes out there. This book features over 75 of the world's worst criminals making this a perfect book for anyone interested in crime and any students of law, criminology, psychology and even sociology.

It was a good book for information, so I do recommend it for someone that is getting into criminals and whatnot. But I did have one issue with the writing of the book, there were a bunch of not only spelling errors but grammatical errors as well. It was very off-putting and made me not want to finish the book. It is a good book though, I just wish that there was more time and care taken to proofread it before publishing it.

This book read like an encyclopedia. It is an interesting collection of cases. Written simply on matter of factly without unnecessary embellishment that took it away from what it really is - a collection of story of predators and it's crime.

Fair warning though, this books does make me wary of people nearby in my neighborhood. Because, at the very least, this book taught me how utterly normal the outwardly appearance of a cold blooded murder.

This is very condensed and good for people that want to learn about a lot of criminals and their behavior without having to go into an hours-long documentary on each. Because it's an overview though it's not as detailed as a documentary would be but there is still a lot of good information about each person in the book.

Excellent book. Gave a brief history and a brief summary of these people's crimes. Some detail but not a lot.

Quick, easily digestible blurbs but you might as well just read the first section of each person's Wikipedia article.

Interesting book but was hoping for more derailed information on the killers, victims and crimes and also the punishment they got. Still worth a read if you have an interest in serial killers or crime covers them from all over the world. Lots of pictures to aid with the stories read it in a day nicely written and easy to follow and is 1 that can be picked up and put down easily!

An interesting book if you like true crime but there are some issues. I own the book and have reread it. I’ve noticed some errors and it’s really a book based on opinions. Some I personally would’ve taken out and replaced but that is just opinion. I recommend this book to any one who is interested in true crime and maybe even some who want to study criminology. Anyways have a good day!
