This book is well worth the read if you can get your hands on it. I did not read this edition. I read the 1935 English translation, "Rubber Truncheon: Being An Account Of Thirteen Months Spent In A Concentration Camp," but that edition is not an option at Goodreads.

I was 14 when I read it, and I still have that book. A must-read about one of the many most gruelling aspects of WWII.
