they understand me.

I must say, as much as I liked Mad Woman and identified myself with some of the poems, Throes has my heart. You know why? Because I kept reading and identifying myself with the verses she poured on the page. Damn those feels!

this was more romantic and dreamy than you could ever imagine. prose and poetry dripping with all the love in the world. escaping through 100+ pages and coming out a little misty on the other side.

I never have enough words to praise Kat Savage the way she deserves. Her words seriously rehydrate me. I’m forever thankful for her words.

Reading the cover alone, was enough for me. Although the words were in patches, it was so intriguing. Kat Savage is a skilled writer and poet.

Quick read with short poetry, but still packs a punch. I really liked several of the poems and could relate to many of them.

Kat Savage’s unique brand of storytelling combines some of her own truths with a little bit of fiction to connect to people in a very real way. She writes about ugly things authentically and shamelessly.
