Stella Rosencourt is the premier event coordinator of Savannah’s elite. With her biggest event of the year ahead - the Mayor's St. Patrick's Day ball - she has little time for distractions. But the mysterious Padraig MacNamara and his lush Irish accent are definitely proving to be a distraction.

Padraig MacNamara is an inked enigma. A man of few words who crashes in the ba

Another read that left me feeling very underwhelmed. I wasn't impressed, I felt the writing and the storyline was "immature". I do have the second book in this series and will give this author another shot though!

Proper Irish (Jaded Lily Book 1) by Zeia Jameson is the first book in her Jaded Lily series. This is not my first book by this author and I enjoyed it as much as the others I have read of hers. Her writing style is such that she will pull you into the story right from the beginning. I enjoy her attention to details that made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. I enjoyed getting to know the town this story is based out of. The characters are both connectable and lovable. They too ...more

Proper Irish by Zeia Jameson a four-star read that will turn you proper. This is the first book in the Jaded Lily series and it’s a promising start to the series, Stella Rosencourt was a character you could get behind she was a strong woman who is good as what she does, she has a plan for her life and she knows what she wants with her life. Nothing and no-one will stop her, especially not someone like Padraig MacNamara who was someone I took a while to warm to, even if he is hotter than hell.

This was a fun read for me! Centered around a Saint Patrick’s Day event and the girl who’s planning the whole thing, this book just made me smile. It was a good balance of lighthearted and serious. There were obstacles along the way, but a happy ever after finished it off.

Padraig takes some warming up to. He’s got an Irish temper and also comes off kinda jerkish at first! But Stella is no wilting flower, and sure can deliver the sass right back to him. Their back and forth in the beginning was h

Loved this book! I'm usually not a huge novella fan because I feel like I need more from the story and characters. And though I WANT more of these characters and hope we see them in future books, everything about this novella just worked. I never felt like things were skimmed over. I loved every page!

Proper Irish is the first book in the Jaded Lily Series by Zeia Jameson. This is a fantastic way to start a new series. The story is really captivating, there was no way I was going to put this book down till I had read every single word. I flew through it in an evening. It is a superb enemy to lover romance. This is my second book from Ms. Jameson, the first being Sawyer and Fin- which I loved too. So when I saw this book show up on my feed, I knew I had to read it, and I am so glad that

A quick story that was romantic, not overly descriptive during sexy time, and light in the angst.

Padraig and Stella are both independent, career driven people. They are both artistic in their own way and each has a way with people. Padraig gives a very rough and stern first impression and Stella is bound and determined to set him in his place.

This story centers around a specific social event that Stella is planning and there is a particular paragraph that I've highlighted for the sole reason of

This is my first book that I have read from this author. The writing is decent and the plot was alright. It is a light read. This book is like the perfect t.v. Christmas movie. There is not too much drama and it is a cute love story where everything ends the way it’s supposed to.

I wasn’t sure what to make of Padraig in the beginning. He was really rough and mean. As the story progresses, it explains why he is like that. He grew on me and by the end I liked hi

Do you ever finish a book and just feel complete? That's how I feel right now. This love story was so good it made my reality better. Stella works hard at her job even when her boss and her client is against her. Padraig starts off as someone I didn't like at all. He's very abrasive. But we learn why and we love him for it. The relationship and work dynamic in this book was just awesome. I loved how this book was written. It's very believable and just beautifully put together. I'm so ready to st ...more

Stella Rosencourt is an event planner in Savannah. She is strong, independent, but most of all she's kind and considerate. She works with the wealthy people of Savannah, and even though they can be total dicks to her, she doesn't let it get to her. So when she is tasked to help plan the second St. Patrick's Day party for the mayor's uptight and snooty wife, she does everything that is asked of her. Even if it's all ridiculous. That is until someone shows her what true Irish tradit

This was my first Zeia Jameson’s books I’ve ever read, but it will not be my last!

The first thing that drew me into this story was the cover – holy moly, it’s a great cover! The model is seriously the perfect representation of Zeia’s main character, Padraig. The second thing that drew me in was the fact that the entire story took place in Savannah, GA! I love the South, especially Savannah and when I found out that Zeia was a resident of Georgia

A foul mouthed Irishman and the girl who hates him...at least she thinks she does...she wants too.
Event planner Stella Rosencourt is used to dealing with jerks, her job requires her to tolerate it virtually on a daily basis when working with Savannah's elite and their need for perfection.
Padraig MacNamara is a rude man. He ignores her need for help leaving her on the ground and walks into the tattoo shop.
He despises snooty people and seeing her on her ass in the street makes him happy.

I will start by saying that being Irish automatically draws me in. This was a cute story that brought some real Irish knowledge to to forefront. I enjoyed watching them maneuver through the landmines of miscommunication to come out on the other end.

This story is set in Savannah and exudes charm. I have been to Savannah many times, it's a city I love and Ms. Jameson was spot on with her descriptions. I adored Stella. She was classy and sassy. In the beginning Padraig seems like a giant ass, the chip on his shoulder is bigger than the fountain in Forsyth Park. As the story progresses you fall in love with the characters and the quaintness of Savannah. I love how the city and characters come to life.

This book was SOOO good. In this book you get an incredible cast of characters. I feel in love with more than just the main ones. They were written with charm, personality and you could not help falling in love with their story.

Stella is this smart, beautiful, charming lead. I loved how she was kind, but not a push over. I loved how strong she was. I enjoyed a great strong female lead. I kind of wanted to be her. Padraig.. He took a little to get use to. He started a little harsh, a little rude

Okay, new author for me. I will read more from this author I can tell you that much. Anyone that knows my reviews knows I am honest and this book was an ARC provided from the author for an honest review. Padraig is a hero it take some warming up to. He was very harsh at the beginning of the book, almost a total asshole, but the author did a really good job of explaining his attitude. I don't like rehashing the plot or giving anything away.

I’ve never been to Savanah. Actually, being that I’m not American, I honestly had no idea where Savanah was. After reading Proper Irish, however, I not only got a little lesson on geography, I also learned quite a bit about the Irish heritage still celebrated there.
That’s not what this beautiful story is about, though, but it does unfold while being surrounded by this distinctly rich culture, which is perfectly depicted by the author, by the way.
Padraig and Stella’s story was fun to read. A ha

This is my 2nd book by this author and I loved this one as much as I did the first. I think what I loved about this book the most is that there was no hidden hurtful pasts or bad relationships that caused these two to guard their hearts leaving the road wide open for these two to get to know each other….Although that will be hard to do when it seems they totally despise each other.

This was such a fun read, I read it in one sitting and comple

Proper Irish is a contemporary romance story and one of my favourite reads of the year so far. This is just a wonderfully great story. Sometimes, a simple love story is exactly what you need and Proper Irish meets that criteria perfectly. While the promise of a tattooed Irish man had me interested in the story, I had no idea I was going to love it as much as I did. If you are looking for a read to perfectly satisfy you, look no further.

Proper Irish by Zeia Jameson was a new author for me. I’m so glad I read this book. I loved the cover of the book but the storyline that Zeia has written is awesome. A fun and exciting book that is beautiful story of love and learning to be open to difference. Filled with back and forth banter, characters that developed and easy to relate to and an engaging story that pulls you in from the beginning and holds you through out.

Wow, how to start this book review. There are very few books that I read where I almost instantly dislike a character. And even fewer ones in which the author was able to redeem that character enough that I was able to make it through the book. Surprisingly Zeia Jameson was able to pull this off. If you’re looking for a decently paced book that will have you cussing out loud and possibly even throwing the book (cause gah..you wouldn’t want to throw your e-reade

Great story, loved the humorous moments sprinkled throughout it. I was able to connect to the characters immediately. I liked that it wasn’t a love-at-first-sight kind of story; the edginess gave it more depth. And, I think I’m going to add Padraig to my list of book boyfriends, lol!

Stella is an event planner knee deep in making arrangements for the mayor’s St. Patrick’s Day ball. She’s normally a highly focused person, but when she has a run in with Padraig, he leaves her irritated and distract
