From best-selling author Shannon A. Thompson comes an exciting new duology in the Bad Bloods universe.
Fourteen-year-old Violet has been called many things: a bad blood, a survivor, an immortal…now she has a new name—citizen. But adjusting to a lawful life is not easy, especially when she must live under the rule of the same officers who justified the killings of her flock

And it's here! Thank you for reading July Thunder! I loved meeting all the new characters and exploring different sections of Vendona. I hope you enjoy this duology as much as the first one. <3

“Every tragedy went much deeper than the surface sadness.”
I have to say it's been wonderful journeying back into the lives of the Bad Bloods with this book. I would like to thank Miss Thompson for inviting me once again to review her book, coming back to these characters and this setting has been an emotional, thrilling ride and I enjoyed every page turning second of it!

Because of the way the Bad Bloods series is set up, this is only half the story and the other half takes place in July Lightning, which I plan to pick up soon! I read this book surprisingly quickly. I have always enjoyed Shannon’s books and this one was good, but I have to say I liked the other set of characters a little bit better. That is probably due to the fact that I read the first two books about them, though...

First of all: I really love Shannon A. Thompson as an author! I've been following her writing carreer a few years now and she never disappoints!

I loved the first duology in the Bad Blood series and am really looking forward to how this second duology will turn out.

I quiet like the main characters from this duology but I think there is still so much we dont know about them. I'm eager to find out.

Ohh.. Before I forget..The new herd kids are all so interesting and so well written!

New secrets, new bad bloods and new adventures!!!

Well...what can I say. I loved this one as much as the first one. From the start til the end. I admit that I was expecting it to have a little more action just like her first two "sisters",but I can't say I was disappointed either. Lots of secrets and new great things were revealed in this one.

Great job as always, Shannon!

Personal Response
*Spoiler alert*
When I first saw that this book had two new main characters, I was kind of disappointed because I liked the other books so much. Although after I started reading it I started to like it more and more. It really explains a lot more of what all these bad blooded people are going through.

Plot Summary
In the beginning Violet is walking in a school to pick up her friend Serena's sister. When she walks outside the cops are there and she uses her powers to turn into a s

This book was a quick read. I really loved getting back to the world of the again and I really enjoyed the diverse characters.  You can read my review of November Rain (book 1), here and November Snow (book 2), here.

The last book ended with the finally getting recognised as citizens of Vendona. But equal rights are yet to be totally implied. Violet survived the massacre of h

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Well... I liked this companion to the other two books much better. I can't explain why, but I was drawn more into the story this time. Of course you must read the first two so you know what's going on, but this story caught my attention more. I'm glad I found this author... Shannon Thompson writes a good story with characters I like. I also enjoy the dual perspectives. Although there are often e

I received a free copy of July Thunder with the option of providing an honest review.

July Thunder is an amazing work of dystopian fiction that is equal parts dazzling and eerily familiar.

To me, the social commentary was obvious. Bad Bloods are supposed to be considered equal under the law, yet they are still segregated from "normal" citizens. Hospitals have the right to refuse treatment of Bad Bloods, Bad Bloods have to attend "special" schools, and they are penalized more severely for breaking

I received an e-copy of this book from the author in exchanged for an honest review. Thank you so much, Shannon! I absolutely love this new addition to the Bad Blood series!

Like always, I absolutely admire Thompson’s writing ability. The development of her characters never ceases to amaze me. In just a few pages, we find out so much about the characters. Thompson does a fantastic job at establishing each of the characters goals. They feel genuine. But most importantly, they are relatable. And wi

A big thanks to the author for allowing me an ARC to review.
Just like her first two books in the series, this one didn't disappoint. Although, I found it a little bit slow in the beginning, after learning some of the new characters and the way they all tied together, I couldn't wait to continue. I wanted to finish this last night. I had only one more short chapter left, but I couldn't keep my eyes open! So I finished it first thing this morning. Can't wait to dig into her 4th book in the series,

I have to begin by thanking Shannon A. Thompson for giving me the chance to read and review Bad Bloods: July Thunder. She has lots of great novels (including this one) that you should check out!

I really like the anthological duology style that Shannon Thompson has decided to go for with these Bad Bloods novels. Instead of having a very long series all centered around two characters, Bad Bloods switches POV and takes a small jump in

Fascinating story

Fast paced, colorful characters, a story as volatile and frenetic as our own. Looking forward to the next one. Chaos in a world that seeks peace much like our own.

This book was spectacular. So many new characters to meet and learn about. I absolutely loved to find out about these new characters and their backgrounds and histories. Every single page was worth a turn just to see what would happen next. I was sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to find out what lurked around the next corner. So much went on in this story and I think the author did an excellent job of capturing the moments
