Ms. Koenig is a new author to me and I have to say that when I read the blurb I was immediately captivated and just knew I had to read it.

I was not disappointed to say the least. Having to read books about things that happen in real life, things that happen to kids mostly in school is a serious issue that reels you in from the moment you start to the moment you end.

I was so in tune with this story. I loved the characters, Trey was a very strong character and I loved him because you wasn't about

Well I have to start off by saying I love this author something fierce! I have had the pleasure of reading her first series the Secret & Lie's series and it was phenomenal! This is sort of a spin off of that series as it brings us back to where it all started... but it does focus on how Trey and Bri became who they are.. as the secrets and lies focused on Mia and Ethan. Now we do get a some more insight into how Mia and Micah's journey began too (Micah *crying*)... ok so if you haven't read ...more

When I saw M.M. Koenig was releasing a new novel this year in regards to some of the same characters that appeared in her Secrets & Lies Series, I placed it on my MUST READ LIST and kept close eye on when it was releasing. Enter just a few weeks ago, where I devoured FIGHTING FOR SOMEDAY! It was great getting to visit this realm of reading again; this novel focuses on Bri and Trey. A couple that come from such opposite sides of the track that it isn't even funny. FIGHTING FOR SOMEDAY focuses ...more

First time reading a book by this author and it wasn’t that bad. It wasn’t anything close to what I thought it was when I read the blurb. It had so many twists and turns that kept you turning the page at times and at times I was like no what’s next for these two.

Brianna and Trey were from complete opposite sides of town. She was the wealthy daughter of a senator and he was the son of an owner of a construction company. Brianna home was completely dysfunctional while Trey’s was the complete

I'm not going to lie, this story broke me, and left me tripping out with that ending. It's the story of Trey Donovan, a star athlete who is going to a new school filled with rich snobs. He battles on a daily basis with bullying that he knows that he can take care of, but somehow he generally keeps his cool. He meets Bri, the girl that all the boys want, but she wants him, and once he gets past his issues with rich kids, they take an intense, and emotional journey. Especially when there are so ...more

I cannot put into words how good this book was. I was introduced to Bri and Trey in the Secrets and Lies series. The author did such a great job of articulating the characters and their emotions that I felt what these characters were feeling and found myself rooting for them all through the book. This book drew me in and I lost a lot of sleep finishing it because I couldn't put it down.

This is the first book by this author that I have read. I loved reading and following Trey and Bri's story.

I will start out by saying this book is really long but good. I haven't read a book this long in awhile so I had to get in that mind frame again.
I will say that Trey was a condensing jerk at first especially at the beginning. He judged Bri harshly. He soon finds out there's more to her then what he thought. Spoiled little rich girl but she's so much more then that. She has been sheltered and treated like crap. She's not even loved, she's just a toy they can use for their friends and campaign.

4.5 Stars ...
First book by this author and won't be last. This book started out slow but did pick up kinda quickly. This is all about Trey and Bri and how they fight to overcome all the oppsticals they being from two different worlds brings. Its hard seeing Trey being bullied and he stays so calm majority of the time. Bri has her own set of issues they make you wanna hug her close and help her. Overall this book has lots of drama, angst and craziness. I still have some questions and that

Great read. Trey is going to a top notch high school and it's not easy but he keeps his cool but meeting Bri turns his world upside down they are totally different but the same and being together is hard when it seems the whole world is against you. This was emotional and I loved it.
