For every wound, there is a scar.

Raised on fame and fortune, Liam McGuire is a spoiled man-child. His handsome face blinds the world, but I see through it to what he is inside.

When his tour bus rolls off the road, Liam’s rushed to the hospital where I work. A jagged scar runs the length of his face, ruining his good looks and jeopardizing his career. As his nurse, I’m

AHHHHH! I've just completed Wounded by Abby Brooks. I'm a little lost for words actually. I've only met a few of Abby’s books but this one BLEW ME AWAY! My heart and soul are Wounded in the best possible way. I was not expecting to feel the amount of emotions I did.

From the initial hate/enemy feel to the inevitable falling in love I was RIGHT THERE! Abby’s words infiltrated me and pulled me right in so I was experiencing every single thing that the characters were. My heart cracked and then brok

Wounded is an enjoyable, emotional read that kept me pinned to my kindle. Bailey is a strong woman, but so weighed down by guilt, she can’t move forward. Liam has lost himself, allowing those around him to distort his life to the point he no longer recognizes himself.
In a strange act of fate, these two are thrown together, and their intense dislike of each other is the only thing they share.
Or is it?
As they change and grow, so do their feelings. Anger is replaced by understanding. Wariness tur

A fascinating enemies to lovers romance, in Wounded, we meet Bailey and Liam, and go on one heck of a journey.

Liam, rockstar extraordinaire, is injured in an accident, and his nurse while in the hospital is Bailey, the one girl who isn't swooning every time she gets near him. Bailey was a very special character to me. She has a lot going on, and has a lot to overcome. Liam, he was a dreamy rock God that wanted to be more to someone.

Wounded is a heartbreakingly sweet, opposites attract story. T

Such an amazing book. Once I started reading it I actually devoured it in a few hours because the story was so intense that I could hardly put the book down. Abby has done a wonderful job in creating such unique characters like Bailey and Liam, wounded and broken differently by their past experiences but their encounter will be their redemption. In fact Bailey will heal from her obsessive conviction that she is cursed and on the other hand Liam will finally realize through Bailey what really lif ...more

Abby Brooks has out done herself with this 5 star read loaded down with ALL the feels. Wounded is an amazing love story intertwined with self discovery and healing. Liam and Bailey will have you going on a roller-coaster ride of emotions throughout the wonderfully written masterpiece. Have your box of tissues handy because you're going to need them. Seriously, this is the stuff movies are made of. Way to go, Abby!!!

Wounded was an absolutely amazing story. It took you on such a rollercoaster ride of emotions from laughing to crying to swooning to falling hopelessly in love with the characters! And not just the two main characters Liam and Bailey, you will fall in love with them all.
Both Liam and Bailey have pasts that haunt them and hurt them beyond repair it seems. Then they meet and start to heal each other! Unfortunately when tragedy strikes again can they move on from it and find their happily ever aft

Box of Kleenex needed. You will laugh and cry, but mostly fall in love. Abby Brooks frankly has OUTDONE herself in the background and research of WOUNDED. With books out now where kink and sex are most prominent, this story is like a breath of Fresh Air. My most treasured book to date. A MUST READ!!!!!!!!!

Wounded is one of them stories that you don’t want it to end, you read through the story and then at the end start to read it slower because you don’t want it to end. This is one of them stories because I did not want to finish the story of Liam Mcguire and Bailey. This is the first book I have read by the author and instantly fell in love with their writing style. The author knows how to write a story that you feel like you are apart off and came up with a storyline that instantly attracted me ...more

Baily Schultz is a nurse at the hospital in Grayson, Ohio and has been assigned to care for a famous patient after his tour bus is involved in a horrible accident.

Liam McGuire is a super famous singer whose tour bus is involved in a horrible accident leaving him with a wicked gash that runs from his hairline to his chin.

This book gives you all sorts of feels right from the beginning as Abby goes through the emotional roller coaster of the past with both of the main characters. I did not want to

I have been fortunate enough to have recently discovered the amazingly talented Abby Brooks! Wounded by Abby Brooks was one of those books that required you to really take your time reading it, to fully appreciate the story Abby was telling.

I shed more than a few tears during the course of this book, so I would recommend having a few tissues on hand. Liam is a Rock star, one who is involved in a horrible accident. As a patient he meets Bailey, his nurse for the duration of his stay. The love / hate relationship these two have is not a

Not all wounds are visible...

Popstar Liam is scarred after his tour bus crashed, leaving him to re-evaluate his career. After all his career is built on his looks or so his manager keeps telling him. His nurse Bailey, who hates his guts becomes his safe haven, providing him with a place to hide and recover. Once she gets through his public persona to the real Liam, he is not at all obnoxious.

Bailey has wounds herself that run deep, blaming herself for her parents' deaths and driving

Pop superstar Liam McGuire ends up in nurse Bailey's care after a horrific tour bus crash leaves his face badly scarred. The two get along like oil and water, but Bailey starts to see something in Liam that makes her soften towards him. In a moment of weakness after dealing with his tour manager, who's a bigger jerk than he is, Bailey caves and allows Liam to recover in her home.

Wow! I Have been a fan of Abby Brooks for quite some time. I enjoy her style of writing- her words draw me in every time.
With Wounded, though.. I was not drawn in I was dragged in by the feels and almost afraid to come back out in the end.
Somehow, Abby Brooks, had me feeling like I had a front row seat for the emotional, frustrating, sexy rollercoaster that surrounded Liam and his hot lips Bailey.
I was feeling the same emotions right along with them. I loved them- I disliked them. This folks-

I was honored to be able to read and review this book as an ARC. This story literally moved me to tears. The expectations of others that Bailey and Liam try to live up to smothers who they both really are. Bailey had to step into adult shoes way to early due to heart-rending tragedies and Liam was thrust into a life style and manipulated by those who should have loved and protected him at am even younger age. The sparks that fly between these two made me laugh out loud while they discovered who ...more

When Liam and Bailey meet in the hospital, Bailey has no liking at all for Liam, who wears his fame and fortune like an armor. Tired of being a puppet on a string, Liam worms his way into Bailey's life and home, soon he wants into her heart too.

I love watching watching people grow as they get to know someone. Liam and Bailey are no exception. As the story went on, both characters grew and changed, it was refreshing to watch as often in books, the will of one must bend to suit the other. Abby Bro

This book is Abby Brooks at her finest, just when you think she can't do better, she out does herself. Her characters Liam and Bailey are both wounded. Some wounds are visible while others emotional. They are both strong individuals that experienced the ups and downs of life. I enjoyed their bickering and that they were frenemies before they become lovers. What an amazing read. It's been a long time since I've read a book that sucked me in quite like this did. I couldn't put the book down as I went through a roller coaster of emotional turmoil.

Wounded, by Abby Brooks, was genius and fulfilling in its delivery and story line. This was a brilliant story of love with two highly unlikely individuals. They each realize the other has wounds that make them appear to be different than who they truly are. They are sarcastic, rude, yet charming and endearing when they can and are willing to open themselves. This story has heartache, disappointment, but the hope of change of something shifting. Definitely a 5 STAR read!! Grabbed me from the start. I feel in love with Bailey and Liam. Enemies to friends to lovers. Both of them with issues and sadness in their pasts. And in their presents. I loved their enemy/friendship in the beginning. I couldn't wait to see what would become of them. This story took my emotions for a ride . I was laughing one moment. Swooning the next. That I saw this story was testing my heart. I completely love this book and I will recommend to all. Thank you

Before I started this book, I looked at some of the reviews. One review kept saying how this book is like a roller coaster of emotion. I could not have described this book any better. It was one great ride!!! That I would read again. ;)

Bailey & Liam's journey was not a typical rock star romance! I love that there parts that made me as the reader extremely happy. Then there were parts that pulled on my heart strings and put tears in my eyes. This is a rarity!

I am hoping that this is a start

This book had me feeling everything from laughter to being on the brink of tears. Bailey and her story had me feeling so sad for her like all the time and all I really wanted to do was give her a hug and move her out of that house.
