This is a standalone in a series that feels like it should have had the other books read first. The character developement wasn't really there, though the MC weren't 2d. They felt incomplete, like there was more to them that we should have known. The same for the secondary characters. Also, total spoilers within the book of prior books.

That said, it was cute. Insta-love, simple, not much in the way of angst. Cute. I went into it wanting simple, and got it. I do wish it'd been more obvious story

Great read

Yes! This series keeps getting better. While Phillip and Jessica's story is still my favorite - this one is equally awesome. After the ending of the last book you are left wondering how Cat and Henry will come to be a couple. They do in a splendid way - there is so much heart and emotion that you can't stop reading. Loved it

I've been enjoying this series so far and this book was just as good as the previous ones. This series follows four princes of the small island nation Dubreva as they each find their happy ending. This book is Henry's story. To be honest I wasn't quite sure at first if I would like Henry as he seemed a bit of a daredevil type of character. And then there was the fact we already saw a glimpse of his romance in the previous books an

Prince Henry is used to loving life on the edge as a Formula 1 driver, however, an accident during his home race has had him face surgeries and lots of rehab/physiotherapy. He is a fraction of his former self. Not only because of the crash but because he can’t stop thinking about the woman he met at the ball before the race.

Cat is back in New York and hating her new boss after Jess was forced to step down. She’s been dating Dominic and taking things slowly, especially as she can’t seem to get a

Love this series. They are standalones but supporting characters crossover from previous books. Best to read in order for best effects. We get to know billionaire & race car driver Prince Henry. A sweet novel with humour that is enchanting with a captivating plot & compelling characters. I highly recommend reading this enteraining novel & series as it's a fabulous read. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series about Henry's brother Ferdie. I volunteerly reviewed an advanced reading ...more
Ah! Erin, you did better with this one on the steam factor. I wish I’d had that for Eric, oh well! Definitely liked Cat more than Jessica. Again, just when we get to coupledom it was over. Can we have 30 more mins of reading?

I’m psyched (pun intended) to read about Ferdie. Gimmie it!!! But, wtf?? The OM in this story was legit. No OM asshole here. Where is Dominic’s story? Please tell me there is a Dubrevian princess in hiding somewhere!!! PLEASE?!!

The characters are funny, loveable and sometimes downright crazy. So fast ghee princes have had the most amusing ways of meeting their partners. Very enjoyable, sassy and easy read.
Now on to Ferdinand. Wonder if he books up with Allison?

A fabulously fun story. This was a fantastic story to read. Loved Cat and Henry, their great
characters in a wonderfully written story. I really enjoyed reading
about them and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Again, liked the characters better than the plot. In this series, I really enjoyed my time getting to know each of the characters and I appreciate the fact that Erin Hayes wrote a series with each of the princes as the central character.

Pleasantly surprised

This was a pleasant surprise. Most billionaire stories are so far fetched that you cannot related but this was very true. All the feelings are written beautifully by the author. I can’t wait for the next one in this families series.

Prince Henry is still reeling from his accident and all of the injuries both physically and emotionally when he sees Cat and his heart stops. Cat on the other hand is visiting from New York after receiving a call from Jessica. She has just found out she really needs to talk to Henry for the first time since their night together. Once again the American ladies are shaking up the royals and it is fun and emotional. Another really good read from this author that is fun and easy and so worth it as w ...more

No mistake here...The Royal Mistake deserves way more than a 5-star review! I loved this book--it's crazy good; makes you laugh out loud at some of the things going on, and you get to revisit Dubreva...AND watch Prince Henry and Catherine Collins get their HEA. Erin Hayes sure knows how to tell s good story with all the finer details...don't miss this one ! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and absolutely loved it!) ❤️❤️ ...more

This series is wonderful. Such a good character in Prince Henry, who is so full of himself!! Cat has to work hard for everything she gets. These two meet after quite a few drinks and have a one-night stand, never expecting to see each other again. She gets the dream job she wants, plus more, and he re-evaluates his life after he almost dies in a car crash. This is another great story by Erin Hayes, with characters you want to get involved with, and a story you are going to love. I'm recommending ...more

Prince Henry and Cat meet and after more than a few drinks have a wild one night stand. The next morning he is his usual pompous racing car driver self and Cat leaves to go back to New York and continue her focus on her career. When Jessica (Cat's old boss) invites her to Dubreva to work for her again she meets a recovering Prince Henry after an accident and he is is determined to rekindle what happened between them that night. Her news of 2 pink lines on a stick add to the complication of the w ...more

Over Too soon

For a short story this was extremely engaging. I wish there had been more. There were a few editing errors but they didn't detract from the story at all. The characters were well developed and the their interactions were realistic and entertaining. The plot was also exceedingly well put together and I really enjoyed how most of the tension came from the two characters adapting to their situation and each other as opposed to external issues. It worked perfectly for them. Looking forw

We are at book 3 of the series and if you haven't read the others, it's okay--plunge on in for a delightful romp in a country you'd love to visit and with a lifestyle that might be a lot of fun (as long as you aren't much concerned about your privacy; servants know ALL!), at least for awhile. I love the novella length as I can breeze through quickly and savor the story at leisure--or read as slowly as I like and still find out "whodunit" before turning off the lights. There is a surprising amoun ...more

I enjoyed the story. It was a little thrown together as if it were following a pattern instead of the lives of the characters. I didn't like how the story was premised on other stories I had not read so it was missing a lot to me. I really didn't care for the scene with the ex boyfriend....none of that really fit in. That's the part where I felt something was just thrown in. It didn't flow of make sense why she sent the h away. The story cou!d have been great if had all the right ingredients

Another Prince, with a different charm.

I really loved this book and the way things turned out for the couple here.
This book is part of a series of standalones, and is the third one in the series, but I actually picked up this book first because it seems more interesting than the others.

And I was not disappointed.

At first it appeared fast, then it slowed down in the middle until it just got to the right pace. This is really one good book. From Royalty, to a race car driver, to a sort of like 'C
