These inns and hot springs will have you wanting to book a relaxing Japan retreat, but you might be slightly taken aback by the prices. Rooms in some of the more upscale/exclusive inns will run you $500-$1000 a night (which is way out of some budgets). Each inn/hot spring's amenities are described (including meals, in house and local attractions), and are accompanied by photographs of some of the rooms, the hot springs/bathing facilities, and food.
