Logan Everyone's had a summer crush. One that's etched into your memories so hard that it leaves an indelible mark, like a scar on your heart. For me, that crush is my first love, Carver Edwards. I met him at fifteen at summer camp, and for three perfect summers, he was mine. Until the blazing heat of the summer sun faded and reality crashed in. Carver went off to college, ...more

This is probably one of the hardest reviews I have had to write. I don’t even really know where to start.

First off I guess I should say I LOVE Sierra Hill. I was so enamoured by the first book in this series so I immediately started stalking her. Her writing is flawless and I connect with it so deeply I hang on every word so of course as soon as I got the opportunity to read this book I had to take it. However, it just so happened that while reading this book my husband and son were travelling

All the feels are in this story. I laughed, I was mad, anxious, sad, excited, happy, in love and even got a little teary-eyed at one point. (And that never happens to me) Sierra's knowledge of basketball and descriptions of the surroundings made me feel like I was actually there.
Carver and Logan have an amazing chemistry. Their sex scenes are genuinely HOT, believably real and not cheesy or unrealistic. It really helped me connect with the story. Logan is tough, independent and beautiful. Carver

Sierra Hill's books just keep getting better! Loved Carver in Sweet Girl and love him even more in Sweet Summer Love. Don't be mislead. This is a standalone. But he was introduced in previous books. We just never knew what made him tick. Why he was so arrogant. Why everything out of his mouth was always so blunt and inappropriate. You learn in this story why he's the way he is.

This story had everything you want in a NA romance, including strong main characters. I fell in love with Carver (obvio

Sierra Hill is a new author for me!! Loved this second chance at love romance!! Logan and Carver went to summer camp together from the age of 15yrs till 17yrs then life took them in different directions for reasons l can't say as it will give the story away!! They came back together by chance, 4yrs later when one thing leads to another and sparks fly!! Thank you for this ARC!! Sierra!!

This book was amazeballs. It will also decimate you to read it. Once I started, I couldn't stop. Everything these characters go through is so true to life. I gave a child up for adoption. It was the hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever done. I don't have the option of knowing anything about her. I think it would have been a lot easier if they had been more like Jared and his wife. I was so glad to see Carver and Logan both get some of the resolutions they needed. I can't wait for the nex ...more

Love that is to short and end painfully is hard to forget. Especially for Logan and Carver. Carver a big hit and going into the NBS and Logan working as a dental assistant, fate brings these two together again after 4 years of separation. Can a childhood love be rekindled?
This is a sweet romantic heart wrenching love story that will bring a tear to your eyes and heart. This is the first book I read by Sierra Hill and I am looking forward to reading more of her work in the future. An inspiring st

Fast forward 4 years and they run into each other again. They both realize that feelings for each other are still there but now they are both different. Carver is a college basketball star in Arizona on

I loved this second chance romance story and found that this was different then I thought it would be. I was expecting a sweet romance story but was surprised with the many emotions that was written into this story making it such a great read. Sweet Summer Love had everything in that makes this an amazing romance read; there were laughs, angst, romance, heartache, hot moments and drama.

Logan was a fiercely independent woman that didn’t need a man to help her with anything after growing up with t

Sweet Summer Love by Sierra Hill is a second chance love story that had all the right feels in it that made me love it. Carver is upcoming NBA draft player and Logan Shaw is the girl who got away. Logan has been living in her home town trying to build a life for herself after dealing with a rough ending to a relationship that meant so much to her. When Carver and Logan see each other again, the sparks are still there and the love they once had is still burning bright.

I love this series and couldn't wait to read this book, I was hooked from the first page and devoured it in one sitting! Told in dual point of view and it does give you glimpses into the past so you see how things develop between them. You are taken on a roller coaster of emotions and spat out at the end, keep tissues handy as you might need them. This is my favourite book of the series so far, I hope there are more books to come. Another great read from this author, wish I could give it more th ...more

5 Stars!

Sierra Hill was new to me when I introduced myself to her Sweetest Thing series. Since then, I've had a sweet series toothache for these books in the best kind of way possible. Full of heart, heat, laughs, friendship, second chances, and love, this author has created an amazing series that is captivating start to finish and just feels like coming home.

Sweet Summer Love is the third installment in this standalone series... and gives us Logan and Carver's story. These two....what a journey

Be prepared to run the gamut of emotions with this little beauty.
Carver and Logan brought out all the feels, they had me both laughing and yes, crying as I travelled their story with them. The author wrote a story that not only brought the intensity of their relationship to life but also made sure that it was not only intensely personal and private but also beautifully romantic.
Logan brought out the best in Carver, she made him want to be the man, someone like her deserved.

Looking for a book that will have you riding a crazy emotion roller coaster? If so, if you really want a book that will have you feeling as if you are the one experiencing their pain because the book is written that good, then this is the book for you.

Second chance romances are one of my addictions. There is something about all the emotions that run rampant in them, especially in well written ones and ones whose history holds so much pain. Another thing that makes this book awesome? Well that wo

Logan and Carver were each other's summer crushes during High School, and he told her that they were forever. Carver went off to college, and left Logan alone with a huge problem. Four years later, Carver is the captain of his college basketball team, and a hit with the ladies, even though none of them ever get more than one night. He believes he's okay like this, until an injury at a basketball tournament brings him face to face with Logan again. Sweet Summer Love is a great story that brought ...more

Sierra Hill was a new author for me and the book did not disappoint. This was a heartwarming second-chance romance. Logan (I love this name) and Carver fell in love as teenagers at a summer camp. They were each other's firsts. Unfortunate circumstances drove them apart.

Carver took their separation to play the field while Logan took it to build walls around her heart. When life throws them back together after 4 years, their reconnection is raw. Although I did not care much for Carver, I fell in l

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's a bitter sweet love story that starts in a summer camp when Logan and Carver meet at the age of fifteen. They spend two weeks each year falling in love. My favourite kind of story is of young love growing between couples. You get the angst and turmoil of the teenage years and the understanding of the adult years later.

I was very involved with their story, a real page turner that I couldn't put down. It's frustrating to read where people go wrong in their rel

This is the first time I've read from this author and it certainly won't be the last!
Even though this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. Many times when books are advertised like this I find myself not quite getting the whole story, whereas with this book, I didn't find that at all.
Even though I want to read the others in the series now!

This is the third book in this amazing series, but can be read as a standalone. Carver and Logan have an explosive chemistry between them. This is one amazing rollercoaster of a journey, and the author tells this story in such a way that I was intrigued and hooked throughout. No spoilers from me though!
This story is packed full of emotion, heartbreak, humour, and most of all love. This is a beautiful and flawless read, and hats off to Sierra, for writing such a wonderful series. I highly recomme

This is my first read from Sierra & it won't be my last.

I really enjoyed this story it had enough reality in it to make you believe in the fact that a school/college romance can make you fall head over heels in love at any age.
Never let anyone tell you your too young for love if you feel it then it's happening & sometimes you might just meet "the one" and be happy ever after.

But like any love story it doesn't go without it's challenging parts, Carver & Logan's story are not the expec

This book is about Logan and Carver who have a second and third chance at getting it right.
Carver is a McHottie, he is sexy and smart and athletic and super sweet.
Logan has been doing it tough her whole life and is cautious with relationships.

Absolutely loved Carver and Logan! You fall in love with these two teens during the first chapter- while away at a special summer camp. The two have an amazing connection as teens- that we see throughout the book via flashbacks. After an amazing "first time" together we learn that "forever" means two totally different things to Carver and Logan. Logan is from the wrong side of the tracks, a poor farm family- and is only at summer camp on a scholarship. Carver is from a wealthy family, whom of wh ...more

Can your first love really last through everything life has to throw at you and being separated for 4 years with no contact? For Logan and Carver it can! They met at a 2 week summer camp when they were teenagers and have loved each other since. No matter what life threw at them deep down they never stopped loving each other. Also, the ending was just too fast. The love story was a bit rushed and I feel that the book needed more story to make more of the Second Chance Romance.

Logan and Carver are awesome characters though and I do look forward to reading more by Sierra Hill. Her writing style is a

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review for United Indie Book Blog - This is a second chance at love book. The teenaged lovers last saw each other at the age of 17. They were each other's firsts but an unwanted pregnancy split them apart. Each were driven apart by Carver's dad who wanted his son not to lose his chance at the big leagues of the NBA. Carver came from wealth and status. Logan came from the opposite side of town, poor and ashamed of her home life. Four

Sweet Summer Love by Sierra Hill is a love story that stands the test of time despite the obstacles placed in your way, even those unknown to you. I really enjoyed reading Logan and Carver's love story!

Sierra Hill wrote her first full-length romance after a corporate acquisition led her to a stint of unemployment, offering her some quality writing time.

She loves writing about the fictional characters that live in her brain who constantly shout for their own love story to be told.

Sierra resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband of twenty years and her long-haired, German Shepherd. She is
