I'm not sure where I even saw this book to add it to my list to read, but I truly enjoyed it. There were quite a few restaurants in there that I wasn't familiar with, but the information about the items was still great. One of the things that will stick out in my mind forever is Five Guys fries are about the worst there is out there. You can eat a large fry or 29 Wendy's nuggets. That's a picture that will stick in my brain for sure! I enjoyed the supermarket section too because it gave me a visual of some of the things I've thought were OK, but there are better options out there. This is one of those books that I think would be a great gift and I could see myself thumbing through it again and again.
Great information that's useful to anyone wanting to lose weight without following a formal diet plan. Educate yourself about the foods you eat so you'll know what you should and should'nt eat to lose or maintain a healthy weight.
These books are always fun to read through, I work at the library so I'm always reading them when they come out, I just wish they would add the carbs to their nutrition info. I don't eat out that often, and I don't follow the fat or calorie info in my foods as much as the carb count, but I still enjoy the random facts and drooling over the pictures of all the "not that" foods! All in all they are enjoyable reads with helpful hints, so how could you go wrong?
