An excellent book that lays bare how Indian historical studies; specially the ancient period; has been manipulated by outdated and unsubstantiated racial and ideological paradigms to suit political and ideological agendas. This subversion started with the colonial period and constructs devised during those times still dominate Indian historicity even though scientific evidence belies such theories.
