If you want to design the interior of your book, there is no other better text.

This book goes through all of the particulars of typesetting in Adobe InDesign. I was not an InDesign user before using this book. I purchased this book based on a recommendation from a professional editor. It teaches you all of the necessary ins & outs to prepare your book.

This book is meant for designing printed books but by following the techniques, you will be able to easily transfer over to the epub format. There are minimal details for designing epub, so you should seek a different source if that is your need.

I purchased the 2nd edition and it was well worth the money.

I'm not planning on doing my own typesetting so I skimmed this book to make me more conversant with those who are doing it. It served its purpose for me and I would rely on it if I were to begin doing more with InDesign

This book is a step by step guide for typesetting a book with InDesign. I was disappointed they didn't use the Book Feature that makes InDesign so valuable.

Very helpful. Very detailed. A great reference guide. I like that it sets up the work flow for you so you can follow along as you design your book. It's certainly not the only book or source you should consult but it's a good one.
