In this book, Mr Grinling is in search of a new hobby. The story teaches about perseverance and that not every hobby is the right fit.

Now that Mr. Grinling has more free time, he decides to get a hobby as always Mrs. Grinling is mocking him that "old dogs can't learn new tricks". Well, he proved her wrong, he took up surfing!
